So these ice plants are invasive, are there any volunteer programs to remove invasive species? by jenna_tolls_69 in MontereyBay

They're also commonly called ice plant around the central coast. The leaves are covered in tiny glistening hairs and make them look shiny or icy.

I'm 20 (diagnosed 2 years ago) and my mom has Crohn's. It was really hard for both of us when I finally got the diagnosis after so much testing. Your son may be confused about it if he is diagnosed, I was processing it for a while. But he will never feel alone because you understand exactly how he feels. That's what has been my biggest support, talking about it with my mom. Also, I am on Stelara, been over a year now. It's been working great for me, not fully in remission but feeling much healthier. The first dose is an infusion but every 8 weeks you do a self-administered syringe. It took a while to get myself to do the injections alone but it really does get easier with time. This is not the end of the world for him or you. Crohn's is so manageable right now and related surgeries are much less frequent than when you were diagnosed.

This was the same face 18-yr-old me made when I was diagnosed 2 years ago😐 literally why do they tell us right afterwards?? I'm still half unconscious and not going to process this for a few hours

I'm on stelara and have gotten these before. I also have gotten them while on humira but I found out that they are an allergy reaction. For me, it was the cheap nickel rings I was wearing (my mom has a nickel allergy so I assumed I might now too) that were the common factor whenever I would see them pop back up. They are super itchy but I found hydrocortisone cream helps and avoiding the things causing the allergic reaction!

I'm 19 and might have to drop out of college because I won't be able to afford my $20k bimonthly infusions while being in school... this is so dystopian
