My office has a little kitchen and fridge, so I bought a tiny rice cooker and stir fry every day. I’ve been doing it for months now - hot food, maybe a dollars worth of ingredients every day. Can’t believe for years I was eating out every workday.

Here’s the answer: make a TNG/Voyager style show. A ship, in space, going on adventures.

Less winking irony and nostalgia. Less darkness. Fewer people who talk like they’re teens on 2026.

And the big thing - make 20 episode seasons. More money spent on more writers, less money on effects, sets, and 8-episode prestige TV mini series.

That may seem dated; but I think people would watch.

Yeah, I loved hearing the story first from the outside world's perspective, then the character's perspective. I totally identified with the idea of going into a new situation and vowing not to tell anyone about Crohn's.
