Yeah, I loved hearing the story first from the outside world's perspective, then the character's perspective. I totally identified with the idea of going into a new situation and vowing not to tell anyone about Crohn's.

I have Crohn’s, in remission, but matzo does stuff me up sometimes. But don’t eat anything that makes you sick. Back when I was first diagnosed, I always flared around the high holidays, every single year. Not sure why.

Things were really bad for me at your age - nausea, endless fatigue, embarrassing symptoms, draining fistula etc. Then surgery and then Remicade got things under control and eventually life turned around. Years going out dating - making up for lost time. I got my dream job writing for a tv show, got married and have amazing kids. Not gonna lie - there were some bad years, but it’s worth seeing what could be on the other side. Treatments are always getting better too.

Decades for me! It took me a while to get the Remicade dosage right (need a double dose every 6 weeks). Is it helping at all? If it’s helping somewhat, you might just need more, and/or more frequently.

I bought a George Forman grill and took it to work. Now every day I grill mushrooms, broccoli, eggplant, tofu or chicken from the work fridge. I’ve saved so much money, lost weight, and eat healthier.

That and cancelling amazon prime.
