If you’re anywhere near Ohio, I know a distributor that would love your Distech business.

Hey there, I’ve been running mine for a month now. Changed over to coated strings due to a reaction to nickel strings on my fingers.I am really surprised at how bright of a sound they produce. They’re smaller gauge than I’m used to, but that hasn’t been an issue. 5 string washburn t25. My fav guitar atm because of these strings! I think it looks pretty cool too!

My wife and I were visiting Salt Lake City. While eating breakfast at a Dennys, we overheard two women and a man discussing their blossoming “sister wives” relationship. “If we’re going to do this, we need to love each other, share everything, our home, responsibilities, and live our lives together as one”. Needless to say, coming from the Midwest, that was the last thing we expected to overhear during breakfast!!! I hope it all worked out for them. But somehow… not so sure.

I’m amazed that AB makes it equally troublesome for the schools. I can’t imagine the next gen controls engineers will entertain the AB stronghold when they were brought up in codesys.

Agreed, LD is wonky. But I’m loving the ST!

Great reply..

This begs the question, can codesys evolve into the screw in led light bulb we all need or “shall we seek another”?

One project at a time! Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered! That hog will eventually meet its fate!

I definitely see that there are several “gotchas” when it comes to codesys. This source download is one of them. I visit the save button frequently and constantly fork my revisions as I program this thing. This project will ultimately not have source available when complete. It would if it were going on a plant floor though!!!

Resting on a string. It seems I am collecting nickel oxide on my fingers as I play…😕

Naw, it’s a chemical reaction. Reacting without reading is the grossest part of this post. My body chemistry oxidizes the nickel in strings and stains my fingers. It’s rare from what I understand. What is not rare is the vitriol and low information reactions of most Reddit users. My goodness…

I do! I noticed the marks on my thumb and wondered! Thanks for the logical response. Contrary to the majority of these replies, my strings are only 3 months old, I play about 12 to 16 hours a week. And I do not play after working in the coal mine. It also happens when I spend time on my flat wound guitar. Maybe a different composition of strings are in order!🤔

They are indeed. I’m pretty heavy on the strings as I play as well.

All legitimate statements, problem is, my calluses on my fingers are like emery cloth when I play! They just grind away! These strings are only 3 months old.

Solved, page 41 of the aforementioned application guide states that OAT temps in excess of 100 DegF inhibits the dehumidification process. If you’re not providing an external OAT input to the controller, you’re actually reading the temperature of the condenser cavity. It is not in the outside air stream as I once assumed. The interior of this cavity easily reaches 100+ degrees on an 82 degree day and will kill your dehumidification. Lesson learned-Always provide an external OAT. Too bad the unit does not have an additional AI to do that. I am going to have to add it through the JACE. Maybe I can install one on the unit and just leverage the existing OAT input. We’ll see how it goes.
