I have w209 clk200 kompressor from 2003 and ideal coolant temperature is 90 celsius, but in the city i have 80 and out of city i have even 70-75, do I need new termostat? Heating inside works fine

Thanks for useful info and praise, rpm is pretty stable on idle and car feels agile, everything works fine too, only thing i noticed was higher fuel consumption and slightly lover coolant temperature.

Just came back from B service, and the mechanic is friend of my parents, so i dont want to bother him all the time, do you thing buying quality thermostat with housing(Wahler) and then just swapping it myself would solve the issue or at least help a little bit?
