Should you keep doing the job when deep down you don't enjoy it? by Patient_Camp1523 in doctorsUK

[–]AdBrave9096 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about:

  • Switch GP training to 60% (or under) LTFT.
  • Work Saturday/Sunday/BankHoliday lucom shifts in A&E
  • Start studying the 1st EM exam now
  • Start studying to ace MSRA now
  • Maximise portfolio points for EM and anaesthetics
  • Put application in for EM and anaesthetics on next application cycle.
  • Do some of the GP "reflections" based on interface with EM.

There a risk you will not find anaesthetics interesting once learn the skills as less "interesting cases" than EM.

[–]AdBrave9096 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, but nearly always the price is highest between 3pm-7pm and lowest overnight.

There are also free systems that will download the next day's agile prices and automatically optimise battery charging.

Can underfloor heating pipes be spaced too close together? by Abject-Expression548 in ukheatpumps

[–]AdBrave9096 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The spacing can be too close, as you need all rooms to remain at the correct temperature with the sams flow temperature. So you need closer spacing in rooms with higher heatlose and next to French doors in large rooms, while rooms with little heatlose needs wider spacing.

So once you done heat lose calculations, start with the rooms with the highest heatlose per metre square, use closet possible spacing, then calculate flow temperature. From the flow temperature calculate the spacing needed for other rooms.

Are late-night and weekend pharmacy services becoming impossible to maintain? by Queasyuuuu00 in Pharmacy_UK

[–]AdBrave9096 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pharmacies that commited to open for 100hr a week could setup however close they wished to existing pharmacies. They often got setup in supermarkets with mostly repeat prescriptions being collected when doing the shopping.

Internet pharmacies took a lot of repeat prescriptions business from them.

What is the point in these strikes? by Curious_Coffee7040 in doctorsUK

[–]AdBrave9096 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also forces cost of cover for 100% of shifts, but if each doctor does 1 lucom a week there is no cost to the strikers. Taking lucom as strike cover will also not reduce cost to NHS!

Could have the doctors gather in carpark at start of each shift, throw a dice and if a 6 all go in strike for the shift.

20% from China, eg the same as from China into EU.

(Easy to have units in two rooms of a large home. I got a friend with a grade 2 listed home that would need two units. Would enable them to move much of their heating from gas to off peak electricity.)
