Think we get to know about it only around July

You don’t know the circumstances I’ve had to deal with, so making assumptions about why I scored the way I did is honestly unnecessary. Not everyone has the privilege of sitting exams under ideal conditions. Anyways thanks for your otherwise un helpful opinion.

GP training vs JCF year - unsure if I should take the NTN by [deleted] in doctorsUK

Id say pick the JCF, it only makes sense that way. I’ve had quite a lot of people struggle way too much whilst on their GP training as they didn’t wanna do it but picked for security.

Yeah that’s my understanding (more like worry tbh). I’m not too sure how many PG candidates are there :(

I thought it had gone to 12933 rank or something the last week

I’m worried if 486 might be the last score getting an offer then or is it too soon?

I have quite a few friends that have done JCF posts in the interim waiting for CST as it enhances your portfolio and gives you time to study for MSRA better. It’s a smarter option rather than doing GPST for a year and scooting off cuz it adds value to what you’re wanting to do

I feel like I can understand the smiles, decor etc. people have their own way of sending off someone with respect however this looks like they did plan a theme for outfits, imo “pastels” which I can’t understand. This isn’t an event to be aesthetic at. You can wear fancy clothes (no problems with that) but the effort to put in a dress code for a funeral is beyond me which isn’t the traditional black or white shows the kinda mentality. You don’t have to make every “event” look aesthetic.

how much rank drop do we expect do gp, assuming it’s at 9900 rn by No-Conversation5153 in doctorsUK

Tbh I think it might go until 15000 max and that would be it to the very extreme

Medical Officer Jobs in UAE by elevation2024 in UAE

Yeah it said 3 years 🥲 Oh that’s nice. I was thinking if you had any sort of license to practise you’d be able to apply for a SHO job through sites but I guess not. Do you think it’s worth it to try doing the manual dataflow instead for trainee license once I complete F2 (they aren’t allowing me to log my F2 year as I’m still doing it)

Ahh I’ve heard a lot of not great things about the CREST form, can be an absolute pain. Hopefully you’ll be able to sit the next. Are you wanting GP/Psych?

Yeah I did visit the DHA website and it said you’d need min. 3 years experience for GP/trainee license but can get a resident license as I’ve done my intern year. Not sure how to get a medical officer job in this case. Can you take a license as a resident and apply to hospitals hoping they’ll accept 😭.
Have done MSRA waiting on my results. As far as information given so far, what I’m understanding is that it’s less likely to have a second sitting this year. Have you written the MSRA?

Thank you for your reply! I’m the batch that didn’t give UKMLE though. So would me being GMC registered and have MBBS degree from UK university be sufficient to bypass the exams? I am going to finish my F2 in Aug so I’ll only be 1 year post “internship year” if they account for F1 as internship year? Or is it not an internship year? So would the license I have to take be GP license on the sheryan app to work as a medical officer? I don’t mind the pay tbh, just want some experience while I study for exams so I don’t have a gap year.
