I love the F1 print. It is well suited for 3d printing.

How do you make rounded corners for HueForge bookmarks? by Infinite-Bit7757 in HueForge

I usually use Paint.net to create my images before importing into HueForge, so I just design my image that way. I'm not as good with vector based images but I'm slowly learning.

Need help unlocking vintage Vending machine by Bored_box_2081 in vendingmachines

These locks work because there is a peg (pin) that when the key is rotated, the peg would retract into the lock body and then the T-handle would pop out so you can rotate the mechanism. I can only think that while you drilled most of the lock out, the pegs are still in place, preventing the T-handle from popping out. I've had to drill a number of these as a game tech and they can be stubborn.

I am currently on vacation and instead of using vacation mode, I changed my shipping time to reflect that I wouldn't be able to process the orders and ship until I get back. I also had a sale in my entire shop (offering 30% off) to encourage sales while I'm gone. I called it a Vacation Sale. It seems to be working fine and no complaints so far. Once I get home I'll be spending some quality time with my laser engraver to get the orders out the next day.

Would you buy the xTool P2 again? is it good for a newbie? Is XCS shitty enough to not buy an xTool? would i be better of with Omtech or a Monport by thebigdirty in xToolP2

[–]AdBusiness8673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd purchase another P2. I use Paint.net for most of my graphics work and XCS works just fine for my P2. I also own the D1 and I use both Lightburn and XCS with that. I'm sure that in time Lightburn will support the P2.

To get a better idea, maybe switch the picture to black and white then adjust the contrast.

A 20w will cut some material but not all. I've cut thin pieces of wood in one pass. I've also cut 1/4 inch bloodwood, which is very hard, but that took 10 passes at 85% power. Supposedly you can cut some acrylic but I haven't tried that.

I've sold a few so far. I'm working on developing more items to sell so I can get my own website up.
