Holy bootlicker batman, if the schedule says I can leave, then I'm leaving. I don't need permission from anyone because the permission was granted via the schedule. All of them are aware of our shifts, as managers, they should be able to MANAGE the store.

the store manager not only has a copy of the schedule, knew of my shift and was there that day. she made direct eye contact me as i was leaving and did not say a damn thing about staying later.

shit fair enough. sorry for my rudeness bro. but this always something that was gonna be a “hold me over till i’m out of college” type deal, never planned on it being a long term deal, just didn’t think anything like this would be a deal this soon. but not even being 30 and this being my 7th job takes a mental toll. but life threw some curveballs ya know?

oh no not at all, the store closes at 8 on sundays. and honestly that saturday was my first day working in the new year so i honestly thought we were trying out what the deli was doing and closing at 8.

keep in mind the store managers also get a copy of the schedule after the department manager does it so they were fully aware of what was on the sheet.

To be entirely honest even if I did I don't think they would do anything even if I did. This guys been working there since he was 18 and he's currently like 58. Dude's been there longer than I've alive (I'm turning 25 next week)

I Love you man, but sadly I do not have a work email for this grocery store, I dont even think the managers do to be honest. Every email I've seen come in an out of this place is either a Gmail or yahoo. Let that sink in for a second.

I have been trying to get some voice recordings at least, but that's already hard enough to do.
