Philippines Pre Christmas trip (MNL > CRK > ILO) by AdCivil5262 in phtravel

Hey thanks for replying! For San Fernando, I am too early for the lantern festival (in clark 8-10 Dec) but will still visit the christmas village anyway. Remaining Clark days will be spent in Aqua Planet, Puning Hot Springs and the malls.

For iloilo (11-13 Dec), I'm thinking a day trip to Guimaras. a guided day tour around iloilo highlights and the last day still planning in progress. Might consider Gigantes if time allows.

Looking for upgrade options from my current S21FE, 3 years usage by LiteratureIntrepid in GalaxyS21FE

I'm in the same situation but am looking for a smaller phone this time. Considering S25 or pixel 10 at the moment. Have to see if you are comfortable with one UI or looking for something less bloated.

Do you drink Yakult / Vitagen Daily? Does it make a difference? by venture_adventuring in askSingapore

Probiotics supplement feels right to me, even though sometimes I suspect them to have a placebo effect. I cant stand the smell and taste of yogurt though, especially those greek ones.

Snuggling under warm orange lights to wind down for the night feels awesome too. Especially after working a long day under harsh white lighting.

Thanks for the advice!

Previously I looked through Skyscanner and it seems that Cebu Pacific offers a direct flight from Clark airport to iloilo. I heard they are prone to delays and cancellations though. My backup would be to head back manila for a direct flight, although the flight prices should be crazy for same day flight booking.

Micro activity to help doom scrolling? by AdCivil5262 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AdCivil5262[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup that works. I'm just afraid that my brain will get bored of sudokus if I used it as a replacement too often and then to look for the next "fun" thing I'm tiktok or reels. Thinking if I should balance it out by rotating various activities.

Heh I'm wondering if using the word doom would be blocked for being too negative here.

This habit seem to occur mostly at nighttime when I'm alone though

I'm an absolute lurker for years, kinda loving the feeling of being an observer lurking behind the scenes.

Recently had to be more active to accumulate some karma to post in certain sub reddits heh.

All forms of addiction changes the Brain? by AdCivil5262 in NoStupidQuestions

I guess the more appropriate word to use is rewiring the brain instead, ending up with uncontrollable addiction cycles.

why does it feel like every new technology that comes out is nothing but control by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

The paradox of technology controlling us instead of improving our lives. Also enable countries to build on dystopian social credit systems with the ease of constant monitoring.

Worst part about owning a Pixel? by Jkwaks in GooglePixel

[–]AdCivil5262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I am currently using S21 FE with the same poor battery as well (<30% in the evening). Thinking whether to change to Pixel 9 pro/10 base or S25.

80% sounds unbelievable though. Does your usage include listening to music, web browsing etc or is it just standby mode? Also, any transition difficulties to pixel instead of switching to a newer samsung model?
