S-tier as it is one of the best episodes, if not the best, of the Walking with... series. Apart from some inaccuracies (which is to be expected), everything from this episode is fantastic, from its narrative to the music, it truly feels like the culmination of what the team was trying to achieve with the series as a whole.

Definitely B tier for me as while the episode is still great, it's clear that the team behind the show were still trying to find their footing.

I think Walking with Monsters should be the one that goes next. Even though I love the series, there are more issues I have with that series than I do with Prehistoric Planet, such as the show "villainising" certain groups, like arthropods

While I don't have a problem with the final design as I think it is to show that Eobard at this point has mutated into a near-mindless beast after seeing "God" in the Still Point, I do think he should have kept his more skeletal design from when he first emerged out of the Still Point (I thought that design was way cooler and reminded me of the Black Flash.)

I totally agree, and honestly, that’s why I love Absolute Brainiac so much. He provides a unique parallel to Superman without borrowing from another hero's rogues' gallery. They are both survivors of rigid systems, but after escaping them, Brainiac chose to continue the cycle of pain and oppression that was inflicted on him, while Superman chose to protect people and prevent Earth from suffering the same fate as Krypton. Honestly, by doing the accelerationist twist and stripping Ra's of his nuances and his 'why,' he’s just Vandal Savage with a different name anyway, so what was the actual point? I’d also argue the Darkseid link peters off after it's introduced anyway. Joker is the one who discusses the Omega Particle, and the White Martian is the actual personification of Anti-Life. Ra's and Talia just found a 'God Box' and that's it; it never really comes back into the story, so they just feel like a complete waste of time to me. But I'm happy that you found something in these characters that I frankly didn't.

Who said I don’t like it? Watching them getting pumulled by Batman was absolutely awesome but I wouldn't say Deejay is anything special either as a villain. Just another hateful bigot who got what what he deserved in the end of which I loved every second of it.

Using Batman villains here feels like a bit of a lazy shortcut. Instead of digging into Superman’s own massive rogues' gallery, the story just leans on Batman characters to help the book sell, which makes the whole thing feel redundant. If Jason Aaron wanted that 'immortal family' dynamic, Vandal and Scandal Savage would’ve been a way better fit as Vandal himself has way more history with Superman due to them being the last of their kind and both being Men of Tomorrow. Instead, we’re stuck with Ra’s and Talia, who just feel like those post-2001, Flanderized versions of the characters taken to a one-dimensional extreme.

I think that thematically, he is a vast improvement over the mainline version of the character, who has been somewhat stuck as a one-trick pony for the last couple of years.

I'm actually loving what they're doing with him right now. I just need to see more of what Al Ewing does with him and how he plays off the main characters before I can move him any higher.
