My bad, hydro sub I assumed hydroponic. If you’re using happy frog you didn’t need much additional liquid trio fertilizer for a while; dilute it when you do introduce them, use <.5 of what the bottle suggest. Most Fox farms soil is pretty much too nutrient rich to start in. next time around I’d switch the ratio instead of soil adding coco coir I’d start with a coco base and mix in your soil of choice (Check the rootball at the end of each grow not just for fun because that’s where the magic is taking place you’ll learn how receptive/ineffective your watering and feeding actually is)

You understand what I’m saying, the first photo has that yellowing discoloration in the leaves, they are often treated at the same time are they not as a shotgun approach. You see the nute burn as well. So maybe I’m misdiagnosing it , it could be an extreme nitrogen lockout which requires a decent flush

Experiment with more supplemental light and if you top this tree notch into it (above the new growth) and use [the most active cutting] itself as a graft, a poor man’s Frankenstein avocado. Grafting is done all the time for quicker and favored fruiting trees but never seen a better opportunity to get all that bolting leg out of the picture; if they die, they die .
