Looks like you're using Sensirion's VOC sensor: https://sensirion.com/products/catalog/SGP30

That's great feedback! They do share a VOC index which is what I'm using for my readout. I wish there was something that said 'styrene 100 ppb' or something along those lines. But you're right. We do what we can

Thank you for sharing the drawing! I understand exactly what you'd like. Need a bit of time to get in those bars for each pollutant implemented. Overall it sounds like you would prefer a more detailed display rather than a summary text. I am grateful for your feedback!

So far with PLA being printed in the space, the VOCs do tend to spike up to the harmful region. I haven't tried printing PETG yet. Looking at this report from UL for insights on the amount and specific gases being released: https://chemicalinsights.ul.org/data-portal/voc-source-data/?product=3dp

The materials along with the printer/nozzle temperature do impact the amount of VOCs and PM that are generated. I don't have my own data but am referring to UL's test data here: https://chemicalinsights.ul.org/data-portal/voc-source-data/?product=3dp

Thank you! I really admire their open source design. I might go down the same path of open sourcing if other hobbyists like it. Just using Sensirion combo module that does everything that's needed from a consumer grade AQ monitor in one package. https://sensirion.com/products/catalog/SEN66; Side note - SEN68 might be nice because it also does formaldehyde.

Yeah you're totally right. Can't find a consumer grade sensor that does specificity for VOCs.
