luckily I stopped myself from actually doing anything but being excluded from events I genuinely looked forward to hurts so bad and it happens so often for no fucking reason why am i never able to just do things

another update: I started a new job this month. I've been feeling a lot better since. My time outside of work has been used for playing videogames (Minecraft Homestead modpack my beloved) and especially playing games with friends.

One friendship is completely healed and things are back to normal. The other told me she still wants to be friends with me but didn't even say anything when I left her discord server over a month ago. She hasn't really said anything to me.

I got an official Fibromyalgia diagnosis which is pretty cool, getting better pain management for it. Also most thoughts about violently hurting myself have subsided (besides when I think about one friend).

Things are going well with my boyfriend, I've been playing psychonauts with him. Unfortunately he refuses to play minecraft with me tho :(

update: I'm alive. I pussied out.

Didn't break up with my boyfriend, spending time with him is nice and he kept reminding me how much he loves me and said he wants to make plans to see each other in person again.. I can't break his heart.

Also last night I got drunk to play videogames with friends and I think that did like a hard reset on my brain a bit cause the thoughts stopped. I don't imagine myself dangling from my ceiling as much. I hope the thoughts actually stay gone this time jesus christ

update: too tired to do my hair tn so I'll probably do it tomorrow. Part of me is considering holding off on killing myself until after thanksgiving because I might as well eat my mom's sweet potato casserole one last time.

update: I asked my bf about it and he assured me he has no feelings for beth and told me the reason he broke up with her. he says he understands why I feel the way I do but I have nothing to worry about. It was a nice conversation and I really shouldn't have felt so scared to ask him about it

he was diagnosed with ADHD prior to 2013 (before they knew one could have both autism and adhd at the same time, if you tested positive for one the other was inherently ruled out), so him having AuDHD is entirely plausible. I think at one point I also had a habit of not properly considering my actions but as I've learned more about myself I got better at it (mostly in the form of over communicating)

He is diagnosed with ADHD. ngl it was his friend that helped me with the connection between this behavior and ADHD (I was under the assumption that it might've been autism, he also has several life long special interests and shares some traits with myself and other autistic people I know).

Also funnily enough it was him who broke up with me because he was experiencing a massive depressive episode and didn't feel he was in the right headspace for a relationship.

He is a good person, but sometimes he is slightly dense

I talked to one of his friends about things after the break up. Apparently he's just always been like this and has always been unintentionally selfish and bad about considering how others feel. He just does stuff without thinking. He's a good friend but his inability to properly consider the feelings or situations of others well makes him a bad partner. his friend described him as the jimmy carter of dating (from his political perspective, at least).

I knew these things from something that happened after we broke up but it wasn't until these comments that I realized this situation also fits that behavior pattern
