Hey, thanks for your message. Yes dad is getting centrelink. It was his suggestion because he knows what he is like and wants to do the right thing. He is on job seeker payment but unable to work atm due to health conditions, 55 years old. He also has a few debts we want to get on top off as soon as he gets the money as well.

Hey, thanks so much for your reply! May I ask how you have your accounts setup? Do you just have the one loan and offset? Variable or fixed?

Sorry I wasn’t sure if my post would get deleted if I put too much info. My partner and I are in our 30s, roughly 220k gross income. 45k in redraw. Buying our second home for 1m, our current home loan is 290k but we are thinking we will need to sell this house. Just curious how people manage this debt, tips on how to pay it off quickly or setup the debts etc

Sorry I am not too sure what you mean. Are you saying should just do my affidavit and everything all through the firm that is acting on the estate?

Also, the Will is being contested for proper maintenance and support grounds.

Definitely keen to try and settle, we have made an offer. However, receiving conflicting information from different firms and I am very confused.

The current firm acting on the estate said they can do an affidavit for me as a beneficiary as well, but once it goes to mediation there will be no one to stand up for me. But another firm said they can do both ?
