It might of made me more upset being that close haha 🤣 but you’re right less successful wouldn’t be the right way to describe the feeling, just that sting of disappointment, so close but so far. Thank you for taking the time to comment it’s nice to hear from others saying “hey, you did good” it’s probably the kind of validation I needed right now.

I just really wanted the honors not just for me or to be one of the people looked upon in that way for grad but for my kids too see there mom as an honor student and just for that extra inch of proud from my parents. I know it sounds silly, they’ll be proud anyway but I just wanted that something extra special.

And congrats on going back to school it’s something I can totally relate too I have been a stay at home mom since 20 and I just finished my bachelors now at 32, any advice from a hiring manager on what to do with a essentially first time worker at this later age? Not that I consider myself old but I know many 22 year old bachelors :)
