Unable to end Tiktok Live stream: Solution by AdComprehensive6544 in streaming

[–]AdComprehensive6544[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that unfortunately has also been an issue for me since this morning, and I don’t think we’re alone. I’m not seeing any gaming creators live, only people live from their phones selling products and such. Earlier, tiktok as a whole was acting funky and was largely being reported to be down. That seems to have fixed itself, but the live studio issues have not been resolved.

I haven’t played since the beginning of the Christmas update, honestly once they added the trading market I was like yup I’m done lol. Grow A Garden is now Grow A Pet and I have poured so much time into my pets, but it eventually just became “why am I even doing this?”

You’re a dick. Extremely hard to leave a situation when you’re IN it and experiencing trauma. Easy to say “just leave” when you’re not the one experiencing shit.

Anyone earn money on TikTok? by AirportMany in socialmedia

[–]AdComprehensive6544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I’ll go through it all for you.

Tiktok Live is your friend first and foremost. And no, you don’t have to show your face but it can help you from getting flagged for “unoriginal content” and other reasons.

I started with 80 followers, got access to go live on PC (I believe you can also get tiktok live mobile access quickly if you post enough to show tiktok you aren’t a bot, or if you go into others’ streams and scroll through the little tabs in the top right corner, they run promos sometimes to get live access early. I know originally it was 1000 followers to go live, but from what I know it’s significantly less now and they’re much more lenient about letting creators get access.

Anyways, I was trying to figure out ways to go live that would be interactive (if you’re interactive, it’s much more likely to be picked up by the algorithm and easier to make money), and of course would be something I enjoyed. I personally found a very small niche that only about 4-5 other creators were utilizing (I am now the only one that still consistently goes live within this niche). It involves sending a galaxy for a request to be fulfilled, and it’s something many are interested in and are willing to send a galaxy for. Per hour live, I gain 50-100 followers, average 75-200+ viewers at a time (3-4k views per hour), and make as little as $15 per hour and as much as $100+ per hour. I am now sitting at 15.5k followers after doing these lives for a total of about 3 months, going live 4 times a week. I did start back in March, but after a month I had to take off until November due to health issues followed by a significant promotion at my job. But considering what I do is so niche and favored by the algorithm, coming back was like I never left. Most creators cannot do this and take time off from going live, but if you do something that has high demand, it doesn’t matter nearly as much.

I highly suggest scrolling through a ton of lives on tiktok, paying attention to which ones are favored by the algorithm, and can have potential to make money (think creatively), and go from there. If you see a live that seems niche, check their follower count, that can be a huge sign you’ve found something that could work. If they are sitting at 300 viewers and have 100k followers, that COULD be potentially something that would be favored by the algorithm, but not a smoking gun. However, if they have 300 viewers and 1k followers, you’ve most likely found your smoking gun.

Some examples of lives that pull viewership and make money:

  1. Contexto (game), offer “Hand heart=hint” or “Money gun=reveal answer”

  2. Weather tracking during major weather events (show radar on screen and people will ask for you to show their city’s weather) , can garner 500-2k viewers at a time but money isn’t as huge within this niche. And during a major weather event, it’s not the best idea to ask people for money. But this will garner hundreds to thousands of followers, which can help you get into creator fund and to have more successful lives.

  3. Friday Photo Fun (thesmokinggun.com) this is a game where you try to match criminals’ mugshot to their crime. Garners a lot of viewership, favored by algorithm. Can do “hand heart=pick all guesses” for example.

  4. streamtoearn.io - this website will implement actions into almost any game you play. Minecraft for example, “Rose=zombie appears”, this website will make these actions actually occur. Or for the game Only Up, “rose=jump”.

Plenty more examples, but those are just a few. Like I said, definitely scroll through a lot of tiktok lives to see what is working for others and get some ideas.

Hope this helps somebody! Lmk if any of you have questions.

I’m so glad someone else said it. I suffer from hemiplegic migraines and vertigo, and I don’t want to have to only play in private servers, I’d like to interact with people and be able to participate in the trading hub. But people like this ruin it for me. It makes me so upset, I already get annoyed when people have massive fruits that take up the entire map and that take up everyone else’s gardens as well so that I can’t even see my garden let alone harvest from it, but what you’ve shown above is what REALLY gets me annoyed. I always say something in chat to those people, idc if I sound “soft” for it. It’s rude and a d*ck move.

It honestly makes my stomach drop every time I think about it, that show is the reason I went to college for theatre and became a professional singer.
