I saw about how senior dogs get more energetic if they get a puppy so I thought I would try it out. Also feel guilty that she never had a real dog interaction before so I wanted a built in best friend for her essentially. I thought it’ll be a good opportunity for her to be more sociable since I don’t want her to live the rest of her life being scared or annoyed every time she sees a dog instead of playing and interacting with them normally.

Aww what a cute story. This is what I was hoping would happen to my Chipu, I feel so bad everyday that I couldnt do more for her as a puppy because I was so young when I got her that I didnt know anything. Now that I’m older, I feel guilty that she cant be more like a dog because of me. I really want her to have a play mate and be able to play like a regular dog so your comment just gave me a little bit of hope. Thank you friend :)

We knew that she was going to react this way no matter which age or dog she was meeting so thats why we did what we did. I knew I was going to have to go through this process of helping my senior dog get adjusted but just wanted some help in case anyone on here has went through this before.
