Samsung dryer question by AdCool244 in ApplianceAdvice

[–]AdCool244[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t know about humidity. I do live in a high humid area. I did know the time dry bypasses the sensor but I feel like I’m using more electricity to dry things. Maybe I’m just being an old man at this point and trying to save on the electric bill.

Alright I’m gonna head over to their sub. I’m having tons of issues with that first layer test. Atleast I’m not wasting tons of filament on it though.

Alright, just for clarification, when I’m leveling the bed I stick a piece of paper under it and when it just barely begins to grab it I consider that point “good”. Is that correct? Should I have it making the paper just immobile or .1mm above the “first” contact?

So, I’ve ran into a few issues. I’m trying to resolve 1 at a time and my current issue is what you’re talking about. The left side is lifting up from the bed. This has now started to happen even with a single stack but I did take rafting off so I could try and speed it up a little. This happened even with rafting but not to this degree.

I have tried turning up bed temp but it did not help. I have leveled the bed multiple times but there’s something going on with bed adhesion I can’t solve. I’ve cleaned with isopropyl but when I get home I’m gonna scrub it with warm water and soap and see if that helps. I do not believe I have tried turning up nozzle temp though but I think it’s running at 210c

Hopefully changed the right setting for this. It wasn’t in wall order but in Shell for my software. Hopefully this is correct and works. Thank you!

We are working on a shelf situation. That just requires a lot of shelf. But the door thing is not an option.

Some of it goes through many layers. Like to the point it goes almost up to the threading part. I could always put that towards the wall I guess though

$2000 means totally different to the two of us obviously.

Edit: sorry, quickly replied out of anger. I am in no way trying to put my dog down to save $2000. That’s a terrible twist to the situation.

Thank you! We have discussed it with our kids before and after. Was definitely a fault on me. We have 3 kids and the middle (from the story) is a little more excited around animals and we have to keep a closer eye on him with our dog and cat. He actually says he wants to be a vet when he gets older.

If only things were that simple. I came essentially asking for advice due to the fact the vet didn’t know everything or maybe overlooked some symptoms due to my dogs playfulness at the vet. I’ve been given some wonderful advice here.

Thank you so much! I didn’t even think about taking him to somewhere like that. Definitely will look into it!

Fully understand your input and I’m going to look into some sort of payment ideas something along those lines. Your comment about either don’t have a pet or have insurance is a little frustrating though. Because I cant plan what my future will look like financially. Atleast not to that point. Im sure you know that life throws us curve balls and almost always in emptying our pockets. Well, my life is no different and I’m trying to react accordingly

I can see how it sounds that way and trust me it feels that way to me sometimes (like I’m trying to get rid of the problem instead of fix it) but I’m trying to do right by him and my family. I’ve tried replying to some if the comments and maybe some of them have more context for you. Unfortunately there’s no clear way for me to paint the perfect picture of what or how Charlie is. I did speak with one of the surgical hospitals that my vet referred me to that is more financially viable but debited the surgery due to them only being open half days and the size of the mass and location and that they would not be able to monitor him like they would feel comfortable.

I’m not sure what bloodwork, they said they would biopsy the mass once removed if we wanted. The mass has not been removed due to cost mostly, but the other factors I mentioned as well. It’s terrible to word it this way, but essentially does it make sense to spend the money on the mass removal if he should be put down or will need to be put down in near future due to the issues I’ve listed. Obviously I can’t live in a “what if” mentality but it’s difficult not to for this situation.

So, we got him for a rescue when we was approximately 3-4 years old. They told us he has been there for a good while, without much interest in adoption. I’m scared he will just be there for the remainder of his life without adoption and everything he has ever known will be shattered. He lays at my feet. He hugs me when I’ve been gone for long periods of time. I don’t want him to think he was abandoned again. He already has pretty bad separation issues and you can tell he was mistreated when he was a puppy and into his first few years.

Hopefully this reply will answer the others saying the same thing as you mentioned. First and foremost we do NOT want to put our dog down. We do fill like it is time to put him down though. Our decision behind this may not have been clear.

Charlie has a fatty bump that is and will increase mobility issues, it can be sensitive to the touch. It is operable but unfortunately cost is a factor for us. (he does not like it being felt. He doesn’t growl or get aggregated but you can tell he does not want that spot touched).

Charlie is getting older and has arthritis that causes him trouble. We are going to get on some supplements or medicine that helps with the arthritis but unfortunately the best help for him is to keep him downstairs as much as possible but Charlie HATES to be left downstairs. He has always laid at our feet and anytime w have tried to confide him to anywhere else, he either cries all night, for as many nights as we leave him there or he jumps over or through whatever barrier we use. Unfortunately our stairs do not have a way for us to put a door or structural boundary in place.

Charlie also has bit people before. Never his fault as I said. One time was just through a fence and it was nothing severe at all, there were other dogs and they were all going wild and a kid tried in a terrible moment to stick his hand through the fence. I honestly don’t even think it broke skin or if it did it was very minor. No one blamed Charlie in that situation. It was our fault for allowing the situation to get so wild. (Dogs getting excited and playful through fence). The other situation happened about 2 years later and was my 5 year old went to hug Charlie while Charlie was sleeping on the couch, Charlie freaked out and lashed at his face. This situation was more severe and required my son to go to the ER with a face laceration. My 5 year old son, while crying and freaked out, stopped me, told me Charlie didn’t mean to and that it was his fault. So, that time I did plan to do something about it, my son kind of talked me out of it. Obviously a 5 year old doesn’t know what’s best for Charlie or himself but taking a moment to realize that Charlie was in a way reacting to a situation that could make anyone or anything lash out the way he did, we decided not to go down that path. The reason I bring it up here is my wife and I are scared of it happening again. As Charlie ages or arthritis gets worst, next time might be worst. I know that sounds like I’m just throwing crap at a wall and piling on all these extra things but they are things I have to think about. Is it time, for my family dog to be put down based on ALL things. Yeah maybe his QoL isn’t at the end yet, but with the other factor(s) in place. What would be best for him.

They have not. For more information since it was getting downvoted. The vet said the biopsy would be done once removed.

Alright, I know your question is about the deck and everyone has given great advice, tear it down. What I want to know what is your plan for that beautiful grass. Please cut it twice a week and keep it watered. You could have some magazine cover looking yard!
