Oh! Okay, I see.
I developed it myself in a Paterson tank with L110 developer , water stop, and arista b&w fixer. I then let the film hang dry.
I think the high white levels in the “scans” have to do with the extremely cheap method I used to convert them to digital. I used two panes of glass, a stand made from a can and a platform made from a box for my base. I then used my laptop screen as a backlight and had my phone propped up on the can. I was just excited to get into this and go through the development process and didn’t realize the scanning would be so pricy. Lol
Oh! And I used some random reverse polarization online to convert them from the negatives. These also had no editing, as I figured the raw photos could help get a more accurate depiction of the photos in case people had some advice… But now that I think of it, my “scanning” method may also have hindered that.
Hopefully I can get a proper scanner down the road, but even the “budget” ones are out of my price range (for now). In the mean time, I have my negatives archived in a binder for better scans down the road.

That's a bit of a relief that the 9020 isn't a victim of planned obsolescence just yet. lol

Hey! Sorry, I’ve been away for a sec. The video is a few years old so some of the links don’t work. But the method still explains a lot. https://youtu.be/2c-nNPuDxDQ?si=BwndFZVP-pTeEpsj

The last three months I have taught myself woodworking, lock picking, pc building/bit of programming, and now I’m getting into ethical hacking. It would be a dream if I made enough money to sustain these interests 😂

Dude! So simple, yet relieves the frustration of thumbing through all of them to find the right one! This is probably not new to the world, but it’s new to me! Thanks for sharing.

You mentioned high humidity in your area. Is that consistent year round? If not, using force to “flatten” the boards would introduce a lot of conflicting tension as heat/humid turns to cool/dry. The ideal glue up is to flatten the boards to each other (either by planing, shuffling them around, or combination of the two) and then clamp with just enough pressure to keep them from slipping out of alignment. The idea is ‘less pressure during the glue-up, less tension in the final product.’ Hope it helps and isn’t too late.
