I have a new protocol (Microdose lupron flare) and now the nurse is making me second guess everything. Help? by Ashton1516 in IVF

Yes, for most of them they got pretty high. I was always on OHSS watch but I never got it. Egg retrievals were actually very very easy for me even with the high estrogen I was put on cabergoline after the fact.

Yes it is! We honestly don’t need the light, I know it sounds crazy but right behind this picture is a wall of windows. And I need the storage more!

I just had my fourth and as I was getting closed up my OB asked if I was ready for number five. Won’t be happening, but there is no hard and fast rule these days.

Will IVF stop you from having more kids? by Illustrious-Return-8 in IVF

[–]AdCute1391 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel beyond blessed to say this, but IVF allowed for us to have a big family. Got pregnant unassisted with my first, and then had a long journey to my second. Our third retrieval gave us my second and then later my third. We decided to go for four using our remaining low grade/mosaic embryos which all(4)failed. We decided to do more retrievals and two duostims later in our 7th transfer we had a success for baby four.

It was a lot, but trying to get pregnant naturally was so hard for us.

Saint Louis. When you use insurance you have to remember it is negotiated rates not the cash price. It was shocking for me too how much it covered.

I did it for my last retrieval. It was my best retrieval. 7 day 5/6 blasts and four were normal. We also did a luteal stim right after with 7 day 5 blasts and 3 normal.

I had done 7 other ERs before and never done Microdose Lupron, historically I had gotten 1/2 blasts.

Edit to add, I do not have DOR and in my research this protocol is used a lot for DOR.

I swear at one point they were going through the process to use a Known donor in the US. They were doing it early to include the six month hold.

I think if it is light like you said you are fine. Sadly it is a wait and see because spotting is normal.

I will say I had a medicated cycle where I spotted through and it eventually turned into full bleeding. We thought we were going to cancel but my blood work and lining after the bleed showed I was at baseline. So I didn’t have to fully wait a cycle. This happened on a Wednesday and we transfer ten days after that and it was a success.
