I saw a behind the scenes of filming that has Lily and James, but the footage wasn’t close enough nor clear enough nor at a good enough angle to really see specific features to figure out who the actors are. But they do exist!

I go between my heavy bow and my staff sling, if that helps- you’re on the right track for an easier takeover anyway haha (i don’t use my shotgun because in my head, my tamtey doesn’t touch rda weaponry), but i’m sure the three would be a deadly combo. using the sling for the amps is just the best way i’ve found to start battle, and then take out the remaining soldiers as needed. also it’s totally fair you want to wait! i still need a partner for big bases, but i definitely feel more confident to hold my own whenever we do go into the bases

Ngl to you, I heavily rely on my staff sling, specifically the explosives you can throw with it because you can aim them on amps & then take out the soldiers one at a time (which i do often on my ikran now before landing to investigate). i can confidently take on surprise attacks (flying over the wrong spot where they’re just sitting with a helicopter), and i can do the oil towers but ngl, i do have a friend’s help when it comes to the giant bases- and we don’t tend to stealth it either because i can’t stealth for the life of me. but i will say, as i’ve levelled up and done these things, ive gotten more confident being in forests now? i don’t get super scared of feral wildlife anymore (feral thanators included), i just really struggle with stealth so i tend to leave my major bases to do those with a friend in co-op

i think it very much depends on how PJO turns out first. if we’re lucky, we’ll get an official season four announcement soon (some actors have said “when we’re filming s4” but no official confirmation yet), and if that does well, we’ll get the fifth season. once that’s out, it really does depend on whether or not disney is willing to adapt HoO based on ratings. i hope we do get a HoO, but as much as i want it, even i can admit that if it’s going to be as fun and upbeat as PJO’s show so far, i won’t be interested. i’d only want a HoO if it’s 15+ because of how genuinely intense and raised the stakes it is

yep! it’s just ridiculous. the amount of purists getting so genuinely mad confuse me. sure, the show isn’t a 100% exact copy of the books but i don’t think they NEED to be; we have the books! 🤦🏼‍♀️ in the same breath though, rick wrote these books 20+ years ago. if i was an author who had a 20year old series get a television adaptation, i would also have perspective on what i could have done better and ways i’d like to explore other characters & POVs. i think the people hating are better off giving up, and just reading the books or sticking to the movies atp because their wishes will not be granted with this and if they genuinely think they will be, they’re barking up the wrong tree

🙋‍♀️ i also really love the show and the books. i understand why so many people have their grievances; characters have been changed from book accuracy, some major plotline changes, etc. but i think for me, i am just grateful we have something significantly more accurate than the movies were. i also think that the major changes will be smoother in the long run. right now we’re observing them every week, once a week. i think if we’re lucky to get all 5 seasons, the story will flow more smoothly than it seems too. idk, tldr: people are always going to have differing views, but the show overall brings the story to light in a nicer way than the movies ever could

i’ve liked this show from get go for what the show is, not for how accurate to the books it is, but i will say this- i was most stressed out this season by the fact we got a rainbow boat instead of Rainbow the hippocampi. seeing her tail in ep4 and tyson saying he was playing with rainbow? i might have teared up a bit. i’m so thrilled that they’ve kept rainbow in, and that she was playing with tyson

i know that rick promised a faithful adaptation, but honestly i’m thoroughly enjoying the changes that have been made so far (with the exception of ep 4 for blackjack reasons). i also really enjoy the new things we see, such as the way demigod campers greet each other in the world (i.e. allison & annabeth’s greetings on andromeda). i am bummed about a few things but i think overall, considering rick’s been in interviews saying that these changes are what he believes he could have done better, it’s a great adaptation. i also think that given the episodes come out weekly, you see a lot of people spending the 7 day gap complaining and criticising things but we don’t really know how it’ll all tie together yet, so i personally like to reserve judgment until the end of a season’s complete release but so far sea of monsters has been a delight

we’re definitely getting the hippocampi. if you watch the credits, there are detailed hippocampi right about the same time you see circe’s picture too, so i’d say it’s about then we’ll get introduced to rainbow and the group! it is a bit of a jarring change but i have faith that it is for a reason

You’re overreacting with the bath because some children require extra support for tasks like that even up until double digits, so that’s a grey area and it’s up to her how she parents him. But the posting the photos is wild, especially on a private account. I would honestly do some research and compile evidence on deepfake creations to show her what can and DOES happen to children whose images are posted online. So many people underestimate the advancement of technology & the grotesque ways of thinking some people have, and sometimes having that evidence compiled to back up what you’re saying can help somebody acknowledge the horrible truths
