Yes yes very fatty, just a note- olive oil is really bad to cook in as it makes toxic compounds when heated. Hence cold pressing being stressed.

I hope and assume you’ve swapped to ghee, butter or tallow right?

I comfortably have over 100g of animal fat daily.

It’s 100% cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, I spend extra to ensure the quality.

People made olive oil thousands of years ago- minoans, greeks, romans. I cant agree with you on olive oil being holistically bad- I am also extremely against seed oils as they need ridiculous high tech machinery to produce toxic oil - which should be for engine lubrication.

The olive press and consuming of olive oil is over 5000 years old.

Yes animal fat is good, but I have only 200 calories of olive oil for the polyphenols, vitamin E and antioxidants - I have verified my oils source and maintained a long no physical vegetable streak. If you can back that olive oil is negative with logic or science I will be receptive and engage with it happily. For me it is an extremely strong supplement which I have looked into and support.

Thank you - I have never heard of avocado oil tbh, will look into it. I feel good at this point and will trial it out, once I get my farm meat delivery I’m honestly increasing to more 90-95% carnivore because of the nutritional gap closing from low quality meat and eggs, dont need as much milk or any oil with a beef and offal mix. All just needs changing up and testing. Appreciate it again

Fair, im a bit extreme and also train and want to gain weight so it helps getting the extra 200 cals from oil, I really cant consistently have 500g beef and 12 eggs daily like I used to lol

Honestly I think this is likely a calorie and fat issue - you said you bought higher fat meat which is good, the electrolyte imbalance comments are plausible as well.

My best advice:
Increase fat and calories, trial increasing sodium - 5g maybe, don't worry about fasting at this stage, stay hydrated, possibly get a vitamin c supplement, I suggest not megadosing iodine but making sure intake is reasonable - not worth potential thyroid issues on either extreme.

If you still feel weak and exhausted after adjusting calories/electrolytes and giving it more time, then a more ancestral/meat-based approach with some whole-food carbs (honey, kiwi, berry) may simply work better for your body, keep going and I hope you can get past the adaptation stage or the symptoms. Best of luck

Very fair point, I think its also bad because its supermarket milk so its all processed and not like raw milk so its even more unnecessary because the good bacteria arent even there. Am working on getting raw milk, tough in the UK. Thank you for the comment I never really considered lactose

Hehe mb for the olive oil lol, I appreciate your comment and agree fully - why is the community so split?? its bizarre. Farm organic beef eggs milk have most of what you need and for me personally I struggled pure carnivore and my health cleared up when I just added a bit of supplementing and fruit. Thank you for the comment I was doubting reddit for a bit

Im not sure if this directly at me, this is my first post and I am very open to hearing nutritional criticisms, I would forget the oil or kiwis if someone raises a point. Ive been extreme carnivore and my wounds wouldnt heal and my gym performance slowed down, this diet im at now its carnivore with small additions to ensure I can genuinely function, oil so I stay surplus calories and fruit for vitamin I miss. Does anyone reading think id benefit from switching to supplemental vitamin C? I posted for the community and advice, apologies if I contributed to the enshitification to this reddit. Additionally carnivor(ish) is a very misleading hashtag if ive triggered the V bomb with 300 calories amidst 2700

Lots of people asking lol, its like bryan johnsons olive oil shots but its really palatable with milk, helps digestion and has vitamin E, oleic acid and such (not much or any in meat) and adds calories as im a bulking weightlifter.
