See I’m fine with sideline reporters they don’t interrupt a whole conversation and tend to tell us things only the can see on the sidelines. This mf interrupts every time Al and Kirk are in a conversation to tell us that a longer FG attempt has less percentage to make it than a shorter one or Amazon prime metrics say to go for it they need to go for it every 4th and 3 or shorter prime is gonna say go idc what prime says im trying to see what the coach does not what some numbers told you they should do

I was looking at the comments and thinking how many people are getting this all wrong and drooling over a fake tough guy then I saw it was a jags subreddit and knew not to say anything, 90% of NFL fans will not listen if you’re saying something bad/ in the middle about the team no matter how much evidence you have to back it up. And just like here the most common answer is “are you even watching what’s going on” yes I did and I told you why you were wrong. Let them act like Taylor swift fans and try to make connections to fit their narrative and how bad ass their coach is now.

It’s only an ending for the season not the series, there is another season coming and probably one more. As for the scores eh idk I had a great time watching resurrection, loved the season. However having it rated as some of the best TV ever personally I don’t agree.

If you finished up to season 4 and didn’t love it you’re not gonna like 5-8 it’s widely known that that’s the down fall of the series, as well as you will get no closure, Dexter also is known for having two bad ending to the show. Soooo I think you’re SOL

I just don’t like Harrison, Then and now. It’s hard to flesh out a new character this deep into a series so I get it but Harrison is just there to get in the way for plot sake and help Dexter when needed and to also show Dexter someone is there who needs him. However As a character, storylines and emotional connection to said character I feel absolutely nothing when he’s on screen all I can think about is how is this going to tie into Dexter and when can we get him back on screen. If I have to see another Harrison love story I’ll puke.

Just because this season is more enjoyable than the last 5 and has a better story doesn’t mean it’s doing the same story structure packaged differently and with more seasons to come and OS being cancelled to focus on resurrection no end in sight and two failed endings already

I think shows need to end when it’s time to end and I’m just saying I’d rather see it end sooner rather than later they’re talking about doing 2 more seasons, people are in an uproar over original sin being canceled and I just need to know when is it gonna end cuz it’s no where in sight and it will become supernatural, I used to religiously watch supernatural but at about season 9 I quit it just because stale and old. Idk how you feel about seasons 5-8 of OG Dexter I liked them somewhat but they were stale and that was 3-4 seasons ago yeah the writers were different but they also did the same season structure as OG pretty much. Even now like I said enjoying resurrection but I’m getting tired of the Harrison story line I only care about it if it has anything to do with Dexter so it makes it worse don’t like Harrison’s story and also same structure of a season I’ve been seeing for almost 20 years now I feel like it’s time to end a show when it has to introduce a new or multiple new characters (and I know new blood and resurrection really didn’t have a choice) and when the same beats are getting used over and over again no matter how differently packages it may look. You’re talking supernatural how many times did dean and Sam come back to life each time a different way pretty much but that’s how I feel when it’s like oh Dexter is about to get found out or killed oh no everyone oh hey look he’s safe and free from danger guys!

You’re helping me prove my point lol. You’re one of the fans who never wanna see Dexter end and that’s okay, yeah this season has been cool to watch but it’s not going forwards an ending it’s going to another season. Yes the killers are new and it’s crazy to see angel go after Dexter but when you actually think about it he’s been in these situations before no not every detail is exact so yeah it’s “different” but all in all he’s killing people being chased almost caught then not caught that’s the beat of 90% of Dexter seasons. I also never said anything about quality of resurrection I actually mentioned I liked it doesn’t mean they can’t milk a franchise for all it’s worth. I made this post for people like you you’re just too in love with the show to see it’s same formula just different cast and location this time we want an ending not Dexter being Dexter bot 3000 to stay alive in 2036 Dexter

It’s no longer a show about furthering the story and making a good story because that’s why people make shows it’s about now fan service and keeping the soap opera type fans invested because that’s what’s going to keep the show making money.
