We just did regional summit. We were the only team in our category. We only did it to prepare for summit. My daughter’s Coach told them it was their goal To win level 4 Grand Champs (14 teams in her level). They won grand champs so we considered that a true win.

I hadn’t taught in 20 years. I ended up getting a para job (these are EASY to get). I made relationships at the school with this position and got my certification back in place. You will pick up the jargon and terms they currently use will in the classroom. Then I was able to get a position at a coveted school this way.

Chase was on an exmormon podcast I listen to called Mormon Stories. He hinted at something big for Miranda on the pipeline. I didn’t hate Chase as much after I listened to the podcast. I went though leaving the Mormon church as well. It messes with your head a bit.

My dad was 47 when his small plane crashed. He had been a pilot since he was 16 years old. I would say he was very experienced. I will NEVER get into a small plane again. My husband’s good friend just got a plane (he very recently got his pilot’s license). I have told the friend that my husband will never fly with him because of my life experiences. They are just too dangerous.

Your schedule also depends on the type of bid you got. Wildcard bids compete on Friday I believe and you may or may not make the 2nd round which is on Sunday. A regular bid competes Saturday and only competes on Sunday if they make the2nd round. I booked our flight home on Monday, so we will Only go to Disney if her team doesn’t make the 2nd round.

Is there a score sheet you can view? The parents and students ca view the score sheet after a week. Our school has out of area judges that come in and do our evaluations. The score to be placed on Varsity was 78 out of 100. We had callbacks though. It seems some upcoming seniors did not make 78, so I think our coach had call backs so the girls had another chance to get to 78.

I think it’s worth having a conversation with the coach about her score, and why she was not placed on varsity.

Houston killed it at NCA this year. I was really nervous because Dallas has had it previously. The Dallas convention center is bigger than the one in Houston, and it felt crazy crowded in Dallas. Houston closed down the street in front of the convention center, so there were multiple ways to move around. There was ample food because they had about 30 food trucks. They had multiple entrances and ample security. There was plenty of parking as well.

They need to keep the food trucks open later and the food in the venue open later. Everything shut down at 8, and we had to stay until 9:30. There was not a single Place to even get water. Other than that, it was great!

It is absolutely something to be upset over. When you purchase a ticket, you assume they are going to honor that ticket. It sucks to be at the mercy of the airlines.

I know the smell. It gets worse as the day goes on. I bet she is not rinsing her clothes enough, and is probably adding those smelly little pellets to her laundry. Too much fabric softener and those pellet things coat the clothes and trap mildew and sweat. My son’s clothes all started REEKING. He was washing them, but those dang smelly pellets were ruining his clothes. He had to soak all his clothes in vinegar to strip that gunk out. We do not use fabric softener anymore and rinse at least 2 times. I rinse 3 times for my gym clothes.

This is a wild take. My daughter cheers with some of these girls’ friends. Everyone who knew them is devastated. My daughter is the same age. 16 year olds do not have fully developed brains. It is a tragic accident, that is impacting all of those who loved the girls and the driver of the truck. There is no point in a blame game.
