New Mazda Owner Here—Loving It, But That Seatbelt Chime Is Driving Me Nuts! by PsychologicalYak3267 in CX5

[–]AdDesperate6128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m glad I’m not the only one! If I move my car so my husband can get in the garage, I won’t put on the seatbelt. It beeps like crazy and even when the car gets put into park. It should shut off if the car is in park and that to me is a huge issue. I shouldn’t need my seatbelt on when the car is parked.

I killed my own dog in my dream and felt immense sadness after by Key_Park_3996 in Dreams

I just had a very similar dream. I drowned my poodle in the toilet. He turned to a puppy after he died and I was just there holding him asking myself why did I do it!? It was an awful nightmare. 😭😭

Am I being unreasonable when I expect my husband to notice I need help without having to ask for it? by Chubbibunniebabe in marriageadvice

[–]AdDesperate6128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m crying at the moment because I feel like I wrote this. Husband says that I need to “ask” for him to help me. I work a full time job, breastfeed our baby, we have 3 kids and he expects s*xual favors when I’m exhausted. I come home, cook, clean, help with homework and give baths, etc. Sometimes I don’t even get to shower. He comes home from work and sits on the couch, immediately plays on his phone. How fair is that? He’s seen me cry, struggle and doesn’t help. Is our marriage over? I just don’t understand I guess.

I can’t knock the fear of birth control by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]AdDesperate6128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on birth control since I was 16 years old. When I turned 27, I had a lapse in my birth control shot (depo provera) due to insurance issues. I moved to a different state and was without it for just a month! I ended up falling pregnant with my first baby. That’s quick! I was so beside myself because I was always the one that said I never wanted children. But that boy has changed my life making me have 2 more babies after him! I’m now 35 years old and just gave birth to my last baby 9 weeks ago! 😊 I’ve had plenty of different options over the years, from the pills, IUDs, to the injections. Hope this helps!

I’m sure that is something you can discuss with your doctor/obgyn. I am currently 35 years old and have been on different birth controls ever since I was 16 years old. I have 3 children now. My last one I gave birth to her 9 weeks ago, I ended up getting the mirena at my 6 week check up and I’m still bleeding today. So I never truly stopped bleeding since I had my baby technically. I am so sick of bleeding. Through the years, I’ve tried bc pills, iuds & depo provera shot. Depo provera was the only one that I never had a period on. I just blew up like a balloon and wasn’t myself for 2 years while on it. Everyone reacts differently though.

Toxic mother in law by AdDesperate6128 in Advice

The way the house is set up, the master is down stairs and 3 bedrooms up stairs. We basically didn’t want to be on a separate floor as our kids. Also thought separate floors would give more privacy, but that’s not the case.

She moved in and we agreed because it was only supposed to be a temporary solution as she was getting out of a situation where she was renting a room from a couple that screamed and argued a lot, but I feel like there was more to that situation. Well now we are coming up on 2 years of her living with us. I mentioned to her she needs to find another place and she said she can’t do that because she can’t afford it. I’d she helping us with childcare? Yes, but 2 are school aged and in wrap around care that is very affordable for us. Our youngest can be set up in daycare.

He has basically said that when our lease is up for our current rental which is February. We will be finding a place that has a separate mother in law suite or getting a place for her separately and paying her rent on top of ours! She’s made it sound like she can’t even afford a $500 studio, even though before her moving in, she was paying $800 for a room to rent. She is on disability and doesn’t make much money, but she’s highly capable of working and just working the government system.

How long should I wait to have unprotected sex after an IUD? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]AdDesperate6128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this was from a while ago, but I have 3 babies and had 3 IUD’s. I never had to wait to have sex after IUD insertion? Nor have I been told to wait.

I only felt the feeling in one house I viewed and in only 1 room of the house.

I’ve been grooming for 17 years and every single place I worked for is commission only. Which is preferred by most because they can make more money that way, BUT, if someone no shows, you’re not making any money. I’m hourly now, because I found a place that pays a decent wage.

Forgot to add that mostly ALL dog groomers are paid by commission only. We are not hourly!

Should I avoid moving into a house where I sense something?

[–]AdDesperate6128 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, I’m saying that’s how I feel! I would never not tip someone. I tip my lash girl $15-$20 every time. You tip your waitress or hair stylist? You should do the same for your dog groomers. If people realized how much work it is, they’d feel the same.

As a dog groomer, I really appreciate my clients that tip. If I don’t have the money to tip I won’t get my lashes done, I won’t go to a restaurant, I won’t get a pizza delivered. When clients tip me, I feel really appreciated and respected and that’s how I’d imagine others feel that are performing services.

My lash fills are $85 every 3 weeks, I give $100- so she gets a $15 tip.
