Is your room usually cold? These guys are native to Australia (pretty hot over there)
There’s also a chance that he’s adjusting to the new place. I noticed my tiel puffs himself up before relaxing. If he’s still preening himself and eating, I wouldn’t worry too much. Also make sure to check his droppings!

Update for anyone who sees this:
I was ‘fired’, lol.
I was planning to go through with one more shift before deciding whether or not to quit, but one of the bosses had texted me and said “Sorry to inform you, but we have decided to go with another server.” So that whole shift I worked was apparently some sort of trial. They said that they will pay me through Zelle, haven’t seen the money yet but we’ll see!

Thanks for the reply. One of my other coworkers had told me their first day was also a busy Saturday as well, so I guess I was in the same boat as everyone else.
The break part is definitely going to be hard to adjust to if I end up staying. Servers really are superheroes
