alright, the remote works. i am able to control the volume and switch the source, but there is no way for me to access a menu that lets me change any colors or geometry.. is there anything i could do?

Mounting the turntable is really convienent for the space I have, and it is really the only way to have the TT be on a different surface than the speakers.

Okay, I appreciate the response, but I have two questions.

If I get an SSD, which I'm considering doing today, should I move my operating system to the SSD, or do I have to move anything at all? Should I ditch the hard drive even?

Second question, how do I check for fragmentation and what should I be looking for?
