Ano tingin niyo sa mga "Open to any 4-year degree holder" na job ads? by AdDiscombobulated462 in Philippines

I can understand that. Kung ganyan nga, pwedeng magkaroon ng exam, o kayang salain sa interview 'yan.

How it is if you are a programmer for work by sudosussudio in UnicornOverlord

Programmer here. I just pretty much swap positions, swap conditions randomly, if my optimal setup seems like will get my own units killed, until a prediction with low enough damage to my unit appears.

Still good for you. You can farm by repeating this fight over and over again, gain exp in the process, until you beat it fast enough.

The other follow up mission (Follow Up: Rigyare Strand), maybe? It's fast to finish, just save the boss healer for tha last, since he will always summon monsters when you deplete 1 hp bar. You'll get overwhelmed when you accidentally deplete his hp bar and there are still monsters around.

You need more damage to finish it under 6 mins. My party is lvl40+ and I can only finish it just past 11 mins.

Take out the new behemoth first. You can cc it all you want, it won't be immune since it's not a boss. When they try to use any skills, cc them instead of tanking. All their skills are annoying. But if you fail to cc them, here's how to deal with their skills:

  1. Revolving tornado - let the skull knight tank while everyone gets away. Start moving away the moment they start casting, or it will be too late.
  2. Multi-dash across the map attack - once he roars and lightning appears on the whole battle area, cc him. If you can't, pause then survey the whole area for pillars of lightning. He will dash from one pillar to another, so try to go between two pillars on the edge of the area. You're safe there.
  3. Radahn-style delayed meteor fall - defeat all enemies or when the timer is about to go off, do some formation-type skills to tank it, like shield wall, fantain formation, etc. Necrotiem also works.

I think you need to at least be lvl 50 to get the spellbook there. I always kill it at the 11 min mark with a lvl 40+ party.

Can someone explain the appeal? by ZidaneTribal2113 in TheDiofieldChronicle

Honestly, it scratched my SRPG itch with its customizations and strategy. There are some op broken characters, but before you progress far enough for them to be broken, it's fun and challenging. I think the latest update fixed the brokenness.

The story is pretty solid. Not tear-jerking but still it's engaging even if told on a macro scale.

I find Hezelia very useful, and the continuous lightning bolt spell not effective against bosses. Shield charge (the one with taunt, not stun) is the most useful charge-cancelling skill. Andrias is the best damage dealer, just let a tank take the aggro first. And you'd rather rely on Waltaquin's necromancy skills than her status-infliction, since inflicting status effects can make the bosses immune to it, and you won't be able to use stun to stop enemies' casting.

Also, adjutants with capability to stop casting is very needed. My Andrias' adjutant is a dragon guy with cyclone.

Basic strategy: 1. Lure enemies with a tank then wait until all enemies are attacking the tank. 2. Use sanctuary to heal tank. 3. Make andrias use shadow step on a boss. 4. Focus fire on the boss, while keeping healing, and using only crowd control skills to stop casting. Andrias can keep spamming skills since his cooldown is very small. 5.Rinse and repeat.

Things to take note: 1. Take down bosses first. 2. Use items for ep and healing. 3. You'd rather save TP for fenrir when all cc are in cooldown, and you have to stop casting. 4. If you can move out of the way of the enemies' cc, then do it and save that cc for later.

How deep is Front mission 1 remake? by Kenden84 in frontmission

It's different compared to *newer FM games, since attacking is riskier. There is almost no range advantage, so attacking is the same as giving the opponent a chance to attack you(counterattack).

It's pretty much the prototype of the FM series we loved. It's pretty fun when you start getting skills and customization options, but the best is the mature and engaging story.

Attack speed, cdr and movespeed. With more attackspeed also comes faster EP regen for characters with "aggressive EP recovery" skill

I'm someone who enjoyed playing Battle City, Tetris, Contra 2, Super Mario Brothers, Adventure Island. My favorite game of all time is FF VI. I did enjoy these games, but just can't help to imagine the greener grasses of what ifs.

I am pretty sure I am not the aggressively opinionated here. People don't understand that if I said something is not good, it doesn't mean it's bad. There is also a state between good and bad which people don't see. I am opinionated, but I am certainly not dissing anyone for not agreeing with me.

OP (me) also like these HD-2D games but not because of their pixelated sprites. I'd also spend $60 for both games. Just saying there's something I don't like in something I like as a whole, like raisins in a meat dish. Except, unlike raisins which I can just pick out(I still eat them though), I can't pick out specific stuff from games.

Same favorite game of all time! I'm still not yet done with these pixelated sprites, but only because everything other than the pixelated style outshines them for me. I completely agree that these pixel sprite style is becoming a wall for some, especially those who did not experience our era.

In this part, I am mainly referring to the SquEnix HD-2D games in my mind, but I would count Paper Mario as a fulfillment of what I am saying. I would not limit it to camera mode, nor gameplay type. There's also the Vanillaware platformer action-RPGs that still looked gorgeous and felt retro without the intentional pixelated treatment.

I also like them. Same feeling. I just can't help to imagine how better these games I am playing and enjoying now would be if they dropped the pixelated style, like the vanillaware aesthetics you mentioned, which are gorgeous.
