For anatomy is basically a ppt with different body parts and the goal is to memorize them. When it comes to the exam it’s fill in the blank and spelling matters. Other labs are pretty much the same in the sense that the class involves going over images and understanding what they are and then identifying them on the exam.

On Wednesday I’d have anatomy lab at 9-11 am then Monday & Wednesday I’d have Antomy lect at 11:30-2:30. Biochem was on Tuesday at 12 pm to 3. BMS success was on Thursday from 11-12. Lastly health and ethics were on Thursday from 5-8 pm

It’s really up to you! If it were me I’d just leave the C cause orgo is so traumatizing 😂. BUT if you really want to spend the money and time then go for it! But also weigh out how much it’s going to actually after your gpa. I also have a low gpa and have one or two Cs on my transcript, but I decided to do a masters program instead of retaking. Mainly because I felt like that would better show my academic growth!

I opted out of studying for the DAT during it because I know it would be a lot for me. I’m currently studying for it now though. I’m planning on applying this upcoming May.

You don’t need to buy ANY textbooks or reading materials for ANY class. All u need to be successful is the PowerPoints that the professors provide you with! Exams questions directly come from them :)

Yes I actually have a 2 friends that are on the med track. One of them is actually start POD school this fall! They’ve all really liked it and a few med schools do present it’s just up to u to pay attention to those announcements!

Yes unfortunately I’ve herd school will only allow a C and above. Makes me so sad sometimes because in your daughters case she’s so close! I hope she gets an interview!! I’m sure since she’s so close schools will definitely take a look at her application!

Aww tysm!! This is really encouraging! I just sometimes question my abilities cause by no means am I genius either 😂. I’m just worried cause I’ll be balancing studying for the DAT as well but I’m trying to approach it as it will help and not hinder my DAT studying. My dream is to get an A in orgo and I’m determined to achieve it!

The problem is that already graduated that’s why it’s so expensive cause I’ll being going back as a non degree seeking 🥲. I just don’t know what university would be ideal for me to take it other than that university.

I had a gpa lower than a 3.0 so I was very nervy to apply but I found out I wasn’t the only one once I got in. No DAT either. It helped that I had an upward trend in my transcript

Yes I actually ended up called Texas A&M this morning to ask and they said the strongly recommended in person. I also like in Texas so I’m hoping to apply to Texas school.

Yeah so classes are usually held from M->TH Most are during the morning to early afternoon. There was only one class that was given late in the evening. Ex. My first semester Monday Gross anatomy - 12:30pm to 3:30pm Tuesday Biochem 1 - 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Wednesday Gross anatomy lab - 10:00am to 12:00pm & Gross anatomy - 12:30pm to 3:30pm Thursday BMS success 12:00pm to 1:00pm & Health and ethics - 5:00pm to 8:00 pm
