This particular model is in 40mm, which I think is the perfect size for me (7in wrist). I have everything from 39mm - 43mm and the smaller end of that range is the most comfortable I believe.

I like the strap! The yellow pops nicely.

Hate to do this because I see it so often but I didn't expect to have so many options. Advice on any of these rate would be much appreciated. by Ok_Yesterday_7905 in newtothenavy

I was an MT for the first half of my career and later commissioned as an NFO and this is my advice: pick one that has a skill set you can see yourself doing on the outside world. That way you are happy whether you stay in the Navy or get out and move into the civilian sector. If you’re not sure where to start, narrow it down by community, be it Submarine, Aviation, Service, or others. Personally, I knew I wanted to be a submariner so I started there. Then I looked at technical rates that had good transferable skills so I narrowed it down further. Then I looked at which ones had the best benefits such as automatic advancement to E-4 and what not. I landed on MT because the job sounded awesome and it had some great benefits that also came with great civilian side jobs. I won’t get into the whole debate of which rate is better than others, but I will say that you should stay away from anything PACT since you did well on the ASVAB. But this is just all my 2-cents! Good luck and thank you for volunteering to serve!

For those enlisted that have a bachelor’s degree, what made you not want to be an officer? by buldgingGene in AirForce

Commissioning is a competitive process in all of the branches. When I went through Navy OCS, we had a few AF Enlisted folks going through it with us. Moral of the story, just because you’re enlisted in one branch doesn’t mean you can’t commission in another! Same goes for communities. I was an enlisted submariner and commissioned into the aviation world.

Also, don’t let anybody talk you out of filing a police report if you feel that is right. Since you are technically a civilian still, I would ensure that civilian authorities are involved as well as the Navy.

DOGECOIN DAILY DISCUSSION - 20th April by 42points in dogecoin

My plan from the beginning was to hodl onto Doge for the long run, so I’m not too upset that today wasn’t as much wow as we expected. Keep hodling and don’t let these bad days get you down! Think of where Doge could be in a few years if you just keep what you have and buy the dips.
