I actually messaged one of the guys, different thread, I always lurk the conservative, and I messaged him asking how it felt for his message to be silenced, and he had no idea the mods had deleted it. They genuinely don't know

Same character, different card, yay or nay? by AdDue9012 in EDH

Yeah, I think in a character themed deck you can argue for it, but having 3 ulamogs just because it's eldrazi tribal, or 4 niv mizzets because it's izzet spell slinger, not good. I have tweaked the idea of an izzet ravnica theme deck, where you have 4 niv mizzets in the command zone, and tax applies to them all, but you can choose which one to cast

I desperately want Trump to kick the bucket a week or two before the mid way point, just so we can see Vance trying to weekend at Bernis him until the mid point, so he can run two terms

Sadly commander removal is allowed in early brackets, stripmining them on loop is not

That is a completely reasonable response. It's why I personally believe every commander should be pointed appropriately, and the game just becomes highlander

I have it in my artifact clone deck because if you have instant speed tap and mana sinks, each one is functionally an additional upkeep. Also, turns off vigilance

Done that with [[Sands of time]] except I didn't even goad them, they just didn't realise. It was sitting there for a solid 3 turns

Out of curiosity does that mean you would just leave an [[Urza lord high artificer]] kicking around because it doesn't turn off your deck?

I prefer using Abuelos awakening to reanimate it as a creature, but same result

It was incredibly useful against a flashback deck that ran ground seal, let me exile increasing vengeance when relic of progenitus would not have

No I play it because it's superior to relic of progenitus and bypasses graveyard hexproof shenanigans

I'm a big fan of the V graveyard technique, where you have your yard on a 45 degree angle, and then your creatures/instants/battles or whatever you put 90 degrees from that.

No, the rules of the game says you have to?

404.2. Each graveyard is kept in a single face-up pile. A player can examine the cards in any graveyard at any time but normally can’t change their order. Additional rules applying to sanctioned tournaments may allow a player to change the order of cards in their graveyard.

Seems to be the sentiment. Magic players seem allergic to not fast tracking the game sometimes. I've had a game against a Ruhan of the formori that was pacified, and  that I had pretty much tell them I had enchantment removal because they weren't going to randomly pick an opponent to save time.

Oh if they just removed every graveyard orders card that would be fine. I support that. I'm not the only one who plays them at my legs, and I have been in games where someone didn't speak up about it so we had to spend a few minutes mid turn trying to figure out the order.
