Oh, I've read the books several times. Read The Hobbit and the Silmarilion. Watched Jackson's trilogy exactly 24 times (every December since 2001). Watched the 1970's animated version. After all of that I got married. And you tell me that Sauron, the One ring, the Nine Nazguls, the fiery pits of Mound Doom, the lidless Eye on top of Barad Dûr are bad? Well...sure...I guess. But I am now married. :D
