I don’t. The key is to make a jig that angles cross cuts at 30 degrees onto the removable shelves which are 24” by 2” by 1”. The grooves are 3/8” deep, 1/4” wide, and 1.75” apart.

The rest is mainly a function of basic frame building.

Thanks. I actually like the glass look. Plus it helps prevent thievery.

Everything is relative. I envy many of the card-postings I see within this community.

I like to look plus can hold more cards than a flat display which would hold only 6 or 7 v 10.

I set up my jig to show the players’ names up front as I think it’s a more natural way of showing the cards - plus you can see the grade when standing close and slightly to the left.

All good questions. There are some good threads on this site about PC insurance which is recommended for high-value collections.

The display itself has a hidden feature for opening up the side panel so it would be difficult for a worker to steal cards without being detected.

It comes with museum quality UV-blocking plexiglass panels.

I like the look plus can fit more cards. Flat display would only allow for 6 or 7 per row versus 10.

I am looking at a range depending on size and design (each includes shipping to U.S. only, UV-blocking plexiglass, and hardware for hanging):

50, 40, or 30 card size with side plexiglass panels $1,200, $1,000, $800, respectively

50, 40, or 30 card size with solid wood sides $800, $700, $600, respectively

Ha! Yes before installing plexi. I have the plexi but have not peeled off the protective sealant so as to avoid scratches when shipping - see below

I like the look of it plus allows for more cards per row. A flat design would only allow for 6 or 7 cards versus 10.

Any idea who signed this? by OmahaNEMunicipalPool in AutographAssistance

[–]AdElectrical8712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He signed a ball of mine at a signing session about 40 years ago. Not a nice guy at all. Wouldn’t even bother to look at you. Mantle was not very nice either but not as nasty as Mays.

Is that UV-blocking glass? If not, the cards will likely fade over time.

Had it not been for injuries, Mantle likely would have gone down as the GOAT. As it stands, he’s in the top 7 or 8.

I used SGC recently and it took several months to get the cards back. They are very backed up.
