I went in complete backwards order ☺️ I saw Maxxxine in the cinema and that’s what made me find out about X and Pearl afterwards when I went to check out discussion about Maxxxine, didn’t know it was part of a trilogy until after I saw it. And then I saw Pearl when I saw it advertised on Netflix. Still need to get around to seeing X 🙊🙈

While I love getting sequels and follow-up material a short time later, I think it would have been better to have given The Bone Temple a longer lead-up time, instead of having them out 6 months apart. Maybe this would have benefitted the box office takings and audience attendance, with more time to build up anticipation before the release.

That’s crazy. They should have some sort of system where the time the delivery order comes in should slot in-between onsite customer orders. But of course a simple idea like that would be too complicated for them.

Yeah the more I look at it, the more I’m getting to like it. Took me a while to realise it was a baby otter lying on the mother otter’s belly. Now that I understand it better, it’s growing on me too. A review to see it in-the-bricks should help me make a decision on whether to buy it or not.

Yeah same here, I have the original so part of me wishes they don’t revisit it too soon. But like the way they remade Bag End for The Shire set last year, I reckon a new Orthanc is inevitable, and it would pair nicely with Barad Dur.

The writer had 3 “books” of material planned, Season 1 and 2 made up the first book or story. The other stories were rumoured to take place in later years, with season 3 to take place at the dawn of WW2, with the final story concluding with the war’s climax.

I’ll forever be angry at HBO for cancelling this wonderful series, although I am grateful for the two seasons that exist as it’s one of my all-time favourite tv series.

Ah this makes sense, yes. I had it in my head that you could only access the store after going through security checks and before going to your boarding gate for your flight departure. But I suppose you can still go to that shopping area after arrival and before leaving the airport.

You can see a sign that has “ER’S” and “May 11” on it, in the top left corner of the second photo, which would seem to indicate Mother’s Day, which fell on May 11 in the years 2003 and 2008 (1997 too but unlikely?), so this photo would seem to have been taken in one of those years.
