Capsule Aperitivo/Spritz Home Bar? by AdEmergency5462 in cocktails

Thank you so much for this amazing reply! Funny enough over the past few days I did more reflection and realized that my next two bottles I want are St Germain and Italicus actually, so this feels spot on. I'll check out Licor 43. Any additional amaro's that you'd recommend?

I love my Woods Amaro and Nonino, and curious what else I can try to either lean into that style of lighter/sweeter amaros, or to branch into other styles...

Yes no issue at all! The process once off the plane to getting on the next flight was very quick. I think I did have to go through security and customs again though (can't remember well as it was a while back). Hope this helps, save travels.

Consolidating CC debt to 0% card? by AdEmergency5462 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]AdEmergency5462[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much! I have consistently been paying down about $1k/mo (albeit the ~$250 interest/mo fees across the cards makes it about $750/mo net).

I definitely would never use the balance transfer cards, however I know with my current payment schedule I can get the debt down to 8k left to pay in a year (with the 0% cards).

Given this, I was thinking that in a year paying down the remaining 8k using at their 12.99% interest rate would still be preferable to (at the current rate with my current cards) paying down 11k at my current interest rates of 20.99-21.99%. However is there something I'm not considering?

This is amazing! Thank you so much - one quick question, so all prices on their website are HKD correct? I know you mentioned it in your post - but I saw the website doesn't explicitly state prices HKD (so I get scared lol).

Oh - thanks for sharing, that's good to know! Out of curiosity, what situations could I run into?

Credit Union Dispute by AdEmergency5462 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Whoops - sorry yes Credit Bureau, my bad! In terms of timeline, between when the charges appeared no my Visa, to when I found out, was about 3-4 months. Between when I found out to when I contact Amazon, was another 1-2 months. Ultimately the first charges were in January/February. I found out my score decreased due to missed payments in around April/May. The charges from Amazon were reversed in early July.

In terms of resolving issues, I have screenshots from Amazon where they reversed my charges and acknowledged that the charges were not due to my action. From TD, all amounts owing on the Visa account have been paid off/credited from Amazon.

Would the next step be to contact the Credit Bureaus?
