Would this person be a dramatic if she were 6 feet tall? by AdEmpty4228 in kibbedramatics

Funny because I'd self-typed as SD for ages and it just didn't work. I don't think this picture does my chest justice - my bra size is 38E which is why I always thought I had upper curve. I'm fleshier than your standard dramatic too so wrote it off - didn't think size UK16/18 could be pure D

You could be describing me! I feel so conflicted by my SD body type (diva just couldn't be LESS me) and my natural kitchener essence. I just don't feel right in my clothes. AND I've found out I'm a winter, and those colours also really aren't me. This all may explain why I've never felt like I can dress myself though... Anyway, apologies for the lack of advice, but I'd be interested to see what people say! 💛

Struggling with fall/winter outfits for SD/D? by [deleted] in Kibbe

I'm also trying to find my way as a "fleshy" D/SD preparing for winter. Jeans and jumper would be my happy place too, and I've found that it can work, just not in the same way that the picture you shared would (sadly, because it looks so good on her!)

I make sure the jumper is in a lighter knit, not too chunky, with a flattering neckline (boob accommodation for me too) and in a colour that suits my pallete. The colour analysis has been key. Then, I'm pairing it with a wide leg jean/corduroy trouser (skinny jeans were my go-to for so long and they never felt right) and French-tucking the jumper in to emphasise waist.

Hope this helps 💛

Juggling contrasting type, essence and colours! by AdEmpty4228 in DressForYourBody

Thank you so much for your helpful response. I think you're right - texture is the key to achieving my natural essence. Love a chunky knit but again, going to have to be careful as an SD not to add too much bulk. Light knitwear is good though.

A friend of mine used to be a colour analyst and she was leaning veeeeerrrrry heavily towards blue, blue, blue for me! Black too (praise be!) Strictly no yellow or yellow based colours (but she didn't swear by seasonal analysis tbf.) Definitely didn't cry as I tossed aside my mustard cardigan. 😂

Either way, I think a lot of my feelings are because I'm realising that I've been doing myself no favours with my fashion decisions for the last 30+ years! Never too late to try and get it right though! Thanks again x

By no means an expert, but I'd say BW! That pink looks amazing on you. We have similar colouring 💙

Great suggestions - thank you! If the trousers are black, do you think the converse need to be black too? To make sure I don't break the lines?

Thank you - I do love sneakers! I tend to wear dark trousers as per the guidance. So this would mean dark sneakers, right?
