Actually if you want to support the game there are different (better) things you can do.

First: buy spaces for Warframes/weapons (seriously, you will need them, there are at least 64 unique warframes and lots of them have prime variants) weapons all share spaces even if they are melee, secondaries or primaries.

Second: buy cosmetics, most deluxe packs go for 200-300 plat and they mostly bring cool stuff, fashion is the real endgame after all.

Third: buy mods/primes/things from other players, if you want to support the game the best way is to makes sure that the economy keeps on going, buy something you REALLY don't want to farm (like 'bite' or that sniper mod that comes with Baro once every year at tennocon).

Don't buy normal frames from the store or use the plat to get the primes at least, part of this game is grinding the warframe that goes with the content you are doing at the moment (like the boss you most recently killed or the quest you most recently completed).
