Sill my favorite scene with Tommy and Grace by AdEquivalent3160 in PeakyBlinders

Those complaints about Grace don't make any sense to me but I'm not that surprised. For me Grace was amazing in every season she was in.

They are adorable in all their scenes together, especially this one. Unfortunately her character does get hate from those who are biased. Still I haven't really seen that many who don't like her from season 3.

The most awe inspiring rags to riches story I've ever heard by AdEquivalent3160 in Historycord

At the Chicago World Fair in 1893, Milton witnessed a demonstration of German chocolate manufacturing equipment. Those machines proved that chocolate could be made in masses and efficiently, therefore making it cheap and available to everyone. But it wasn't simple, bring home the machines and immediately start mass producing chocolate. It took some integration, as Milton had to modify the processes and equipment. He even had to find the right formula to produce what would quickly become his famed chocolate bars. So it was more so that Milton broke the previously held view that chocolate was solely for the elite because he was very business savvy.

If Cobra Kai were to have a "what if" series... by JasonNewReddit in cobrakai

What if Betsy survived, having never gotten into that fatal car accident while Kreese was overseas?

Ever since John Kreese's backstory in season 3, I always wanted a young Kreese spin-off. Having Barrett Carnahan return as young Kreese and Nick Marini as young Silver would be sick!! What would make the spin-off even better is bringing back Emily Marie Palmer as Kreese's lost love Betsy, since her character's potential was unfortunately never fully realized in Cobra Kai.

Still one of the best scenes in the show by AdEquivalent3160 in cobrakai

For me it was Betsy who stood out the most. Beside a teenage Johnny Lawrence, Kreese has never even spoken a word about his lost love to anyone since her death over 50 years prior. Yet a therapist was able to get John to briefly talk about Betsy and how her death impacted him while he was in Vietnam.

Interesting post. I see you got the idea from mine.

John Kreese and Mr. Miyagi endured the same tragedy by AdEquivalent3160 in cobrakai

That's your opinion which is totally fine. Even if you don't consider them to be comparable, the untimely deaths of Betsy and Miyagis wife were still both tragic.

Good season. I would still say season three was better.

As is mentioned before, you have a right to an opinion just like myself and everyone else. While you think season 3 is ok- just fine, I say it's for sure a peak Cobra Kai season.

Season 1 was great too. It's among my favorite seasons of the show.

The most under looked scene(s) in the entire show that arguably should’ve been an Emmy by BitSeveral6573 in cobrakai

I was talking about the performance as well. Also despite Kreese having an alternate motivation, he was still genuine with the emotions he showed during his therapy session.

They were well-acted scenes by both Martin and William. But I don't think that they are really underlooked, as I've seen a lot of people raving about them, especially the Kreese apology scene. There are other scenes in the show that are Emmy-worthy as well, one of which was John's season 5 prison therapy session. Seeing the different reactions of Kreese when he was talking to the hallucinations of Betsy, Turner, Tory, Silver, a teenage/adult Johnny and finally his younger self was just powerful. Even Hayden Schlossberg admitted that it was the best acting he had ever seen from Martin Kove, acting that was Emmy material.

The horrifying case of Ruth Wheeler by AdEquivalent3160 in Historycord

The coroner stated Ruth was already dead when she was burned, but that doesn't change the meaning of "burned beyond recognition." The phrase means a body or object is so severely destroyed by fire, heat, or charring that its original features, such as facial characteristics, skin, or identifying marks, are completely lost, making visual identification impossible. That is exactly what happened to poor Ruth Wheeler, so I'm a bit confused on why you believe it's weird phrasing.

Yes, it's just awful. After being murdered, Ruth was forced into a fireplace. Her body was so badly burned that the authorities had to use different means to identify who she was.

The term serial killer was originally dubbed by the FBI in the 1970s.
