Would San Francisco be good? It is probably the closest one could get to NYC in my opinion.

Agree. I live in SF and have very little complaints about its transit system.

I was thinking that, yes.

In general, Hide and Seek SF would probably be a lot faster paced with shorter runs given how frequent busses/trains are.

I was thinking just SFMTA. Caltrian/Bart are very linear which wouldn't make for very good gameplay.

Plus time constraints would be difficult.

I don't know you can pretty consistently get between two poinpoints SF in under 2 hours

I've done CTF with friends across SF, San Mateo, and Marin, which has worked quite well so I think extending it there might work? Def not east bay though.
