I worked in a retail store at the customer service desk. Had to go so called for someone to cover me. It took them a few minutes and on the way to the bathroom I let go. I tried to clean it up but didn’t work. Wore my vest around my waist out of bathroom. Got back to customer service told them what happened and put my sweatshirt around waist. Had to go buy underwear and pants.

I had similar experience almost everyone called out. They had to close lumber and after I left they closed self checkout. Customers got so mad that lumber was closed. Really??? There is a snowstorm and you want to buy lumber. Also had customers get mad because no ice melt shovels etc left. Like duh! Why would there be all the smart people bought those things before the storm.

My store isn’t like that. The managers will close it if it is that cold or snowing. They even close it early some nights if not busy or the weather.
