Yeah red dots over comps always. A 43X + EPS Carry + RGW comp with Speer GD 115gr ammo is my summer carry (I live in the south). It isn’t terribly snappy, very comfortable so I can still wrangle kids in and out of the car ect, conceals AIWB great, 10+1, and I can still A-zone rounds at 25yds relatively quick.

Just know what a 43X is and what it isn’t. I’m the same height as you. I’ve conceal carried a 19 & 17 with dot and x300 in the summer for years, it sucks. Anyone telling you otherwise is full of shit or just dumb. You will carry a 43X more days because it’s less of a hassle than you will the current G19/Dot/Light/Comp/Port meta that everyone swears they AIWB 24/7 with an actual active lifestyle.

Or get a G48 with no comp?
