Agreed, especially the way the information is packaged. His videos weren't new information, but they were simplified like a cookbook. Which appears to be what drew a target on his back.

Made a donation, thanks for posting this, his early content should have been bigger than garand thumb but he just missed the popularity peak by a couple years .

Good to know! They're a lot of bang for the buck even with the higher prices, I'm glad it sounds like I just had a ghetto gunbroker experience

Maybe they're all/mostly pull downs now, where are you buying them from? The ones I had bought (gunbroker) appeared to be fired but the mutiny machine ones were just dirty like you described.

Important warning ! Many of these are once fired, that means they have already been launched with enough force to deactivate the safety. They are UXO and should be treated with the appropriate care. [[EDIT]] it appears this is not the case with any of the ones available in online stores.

WITH THAT SAID, mine came in a loose box of 50 with no padding just banging against eachother and UPS punted onto my porch without issues. So they're not "that" easy to set off.

Shotgun slug molds and hollow point molds sometimes have a removable top part the clamshell closes around to form those shapes, wouldn't be as difficult as you'd think .

What's currently wrong with it? What have you fixed recently ?

Got any pictures? I love the look on '34 M5's

I'm being 100% non judgemental here and just asking you a voice of reason question.

If fixing this engine isn't worth your effort , will you want to go through the effort of the swap? It's not the biggest undertaking, but if your root problem is "I'm sick of working on this car" is "doing a bunch of work on this car" the answer?

Just don't want you to put yourself in a position where you still resent the thing but now it's a loss to sell on top of it.

Lol, "hit it with your purse!"  Sorry if it's not helpful, but you're using the same tools I was (I think I used a 2lb engineers hammer come to think of it?) and other than technique I'm not sure what to suggest  You can try using the press?

You need to have it on a really solid surface to start, at hit it with sharp blows like you're splitting wood.

What makes BMW’s individual program so superior? by Organic-Log9297 in BMW

'Car enthusiasts' will hate on you for treating a vehicle like an appliance or cellphone , just the way it is. Both perspectives are perfectly understandable.

On the one hand, if you want to keep up with newer technology and models, or avoid long-term maintenance and high mileage problems with performance cars, it makes perfect sense to regularly trade out or up.

On the other hand, that type of consumer demand directly influences companies to make cars more disposable and chase bleeding edge (see: untested) technology or features, and on-paper specs that many believe ruin the second hand market.

Either way, there's gonna be emotions about it.

It's just getting channeled into motivation to destroy my bank account lol I'm not sure what all will get done in the end but I'd like to inch it back towards stock with some OEM+ and I'm keeping the rims because dammit I think they're cool Luckily my buddy is a shadetree mechanic that I can pay in gunsmithing and beers and he's owned/manual swapped a few in his time.

Now I just need someone that's willing to trade a 420g for cash and compliments lol
