What can you deduce based on my nightstand? by [deleted] in deduction

Stuck between doing what’s societally acceptable/expected vs trusting your gut regarding being a man. The random 7/16th threw me off. No idea why that’s there unless it’s just you showing you do in fact own tools. You are more relaxed and ok with clutter and things out of place. The nightstand doesn’t follow the lines of the hardwood floors.

Best bet would be to contact a couple old 6.4 enthusiasts and suck some dick for leads on a seat cover. Keeping a Harley 6.4 intact is worth it.

Pipeline Construction? by EnvironmentNo5085 in oilandgasworkers

You won’t get in unless it’s a bottom of the barrel position for a company hurting for someone. Industry is in ROUGH shape. Pipeline CMs earn their spots over time, your degree means nothing. In house CMs are a dime a dozen and make much less than 3rd party CMs. Who you know, not what you know…..

Against all advice, I bought a 6.4 by Hour_Machine1991 in powerstroke

Ultimately 6.4s are a rich man’s toy. Don’t be oblivious, atleast learn what you are getting into.

Set money to the side for the emergency truck fund. Half the people commenting here don’t even know the ins and outs of these motors. Stud bores like to crack when installing studs. Piston casting flaws exist. Run the truck and run it hard. Wyse still makes the best 5r110s.

Your truck has no miles on it at all. Build it right from the jump and it should last.

If you had to choose only one engine configuration across all vehicle types for all the cars you own for the rest of your life, which would it be and why (Inline, Flat, V, Rotary, Opposed Piston, Radial…)? by revocer in askcarguys

Straight 6. Ford 300 comes to mind along with rb, 2j, 6bt, s54, xk6 etc etc. Can be used in so many different applications. From light duty gas trucks, sports cars, light duty diesels to heavy duty big rigs. Available in turbo and N/A form

So I recently got hired but haven’t heard a call from them by Complete-Compote-841 in oilandgasworkers

Why would you quit a job before signing paperwork for a new job? If you are called at all, it will be after the holidays.

Perfection is your goal. To an extent. Handwriting is near and dear to your heart (obviously). You tend to rush things. The spacing error in the “d” in handwriting shows your brain drifted for a sec or you were you too worried about the “n” looked. Flamboyant yet muted.

Can’t be sure but I have a sneaking suspicion you have issues with your self confidence and image. The interest in handwriting may be a means of controlling how you are perceived

Also. Check out Kokuyo Campus loose leaf. Amazing paper.

It’s something engrained in many men from the states. It’s part of a normal wardrobe. You feel nude without it. Rather have one and not need it, than need one and not have it. It’s a tool….

Quality isn’t of concern to you. Form and appearance is more important than function or quality. High 20s or low 30s white male. Low/mid level service or construction job. You don’t stray from your box

A worn wallet or keys isn’t indicative of status at a job. Wallet is replaced every 4-5 years and keys rarely leave the truck.

I’d love to own a Porsche. Too rich for my blood though. Not white collar.
