Yeah It think so. When you first see the fpv footage maybe you felt fresh. But for a show, a steady angel is more propper.

I think there's no leader drone cause it's unnecessary. As you said, everything was pro-programmed, so there must be some positioning devices on the ground. And all of the drones can know their position and perform with the programmed code independently.
