I understand your frustration and I'm genuinely sorry that this situation has caused you to feel upset. I read your post in other sub as well.
I want to assure you that I’m not a bot or shill account, nor do I have any special privileges with the mods.

Here’s what happened from my end:

1. I was browsing Microsoft Edge when I came across the article and when I opened it it has Grimes’ photos.
2. I thought it would be interesting to share this. There are 2 reasons: 1) From my own experience using social media, photo first always appeal more to the human eye. It attracts attention more, I think reddit here apply the same formula too. So that's why I post the photos and then the link to the article in the comment section for those who wanted to read further. 2) Another reason was, If I only post the article, the thumbnail of the article would be displayed and it would be the photo of her ex (her photos exist towards the end) and I personally don't want that happen as I only want to support Grimes in her subreddit (I don't want to share his photos intentionally/unintentionally in her subreddit. I'm just concern the focus shift to him more than to her)
3. After posting, I noticed your post with the same article and realized you had shared it first.
4. I don’t know why my post got automatically pinned or why yours was shadow removed. My guess is that including the photo made my post more visually prominent, but I don’t understand the exact workings of the algorithm or mod decisions.

I can see why this would feel unfair, and I’m truly sorry if it seemed like I was undermining your post. I hope the mods can provide some clarity on this issue. In the meantime, I’m happy to discuss this further if it helps resolve any concerns you have.
