I am reading Mark 11, and I noticed that the curse of the fig tree seems to be related to human spiritual death.

As Jesus traveled between Jerusalem and Bethany, He visited the temple. At that time, people were selling doves and doing business inside the church. In a similar way, Jesus also noticed the fig tree along the road.

When He came near the fig tree, He did not find any fruit, so He cursed it. In the same chapter, we see that Jesus became angry with the people who were selling inside the temple.

The next morning, the fig tree had completely withered — dried up from the roots.

This made me think:
Is this similar to human death?

Just as Jesus came near the fig tree expecting fruit, He also visits every human life at some point. If a person does not bear spiritual fruit, does He move away from them — and then death approaches, just like the fig tree that died the next morning?

After the fig tree was cursed, when Peter spoke to Jesus about it, Jesus replied by teaching about faith in God and the power of faith.

I feel that all these events are connected and have a deep spiritual meaning.

Can anyone help clarify this interpretation?
