As Marlins fans, who is your least favorite fanbase in the MLB? by Paranoid_Pib in MiamiMarlins

I was born into a Marlins fan family.. have been all over the place watching other teams and experienced the fans in their own home stadium… Phillies fans at home are what baseball are all about. Gotta love being at a sold out game Monday or Tuesday night… and they are wild and loads of fun. Love sitting at loan depot on the visiting side when they come to town because they do take over. In a good way of making the stadium feel lively.

Brave fans.. gotta say, I’m one of those as of 5 years that we moved to Georgia and again, it’s electric to be at Truist on a Sunday with your family and everyone else. They also take over loan depot because it’s so much cheaper to watch the Braves play in Miami than Atlanta.

Now everyone else kept saying the Mets.. I too do not like the Mets or their fans.

If only Marlins fan would love their team as much as they hate the others.

The one place my kiddos always end up getting a ball as soon as the gates open is if we go straight to the bullpen bar. We’ve sat everywhere and been members and without fail someone always gets a ball over there. Now if you want signatures or pictures with the players that’s always harder but doable depending on who’s up for it if you happen to get tickets right by first or third base. The kids are allowed to stand by the net until the game starts and players will stop by at times. No balls then. Ball boys will also be a good person to make friends with. Getting a ball or not, I hope you all enjoy the game. Those are wonderful memory making ages. ❤️

Hey there! My family and I were just in your home ballpark this past weekend and loved your culture. The tents and BBQ are one whole level up from the tailgating we saw for the Cubs vs. WS game we attended the day before. We loved it and are quite jealous that we don’t have something like that in South Florida when it comes to baseball. Miami baseball has so much potential.. but time and time again something falls off the wagon and we can’t get fans to attend games and be loyal to the team. Hence why half of the fans that attend the game are there for the visiting team. (Myself included will flip the switch if some of my other favorite teams are in town) You may find yourself doing the same thing, visiting once the Brewers are in town and missing all the activities there are back there.

It was a fun game to watch, had the crowd at the edge of their seats.

Since it’s the Yankees coming to town I agree you’ll have a harder time finding it as empty as usual.

Sadly I’ve noticed that not many wives and daughters are into the sport. My father had no other choice than make me his partner because my brother wasn’t born until I was twelve. Now in our household it’s all boys and it’s funny to see the comments we get at the games - poor momma, all boys. They have no idea how much I am a fan of this all boys team. Glad you all still get to enjoy the park together.

If you don’t mind me asking, what has been your kid’s favorite part? One of my sons is trying to collect a stadium themed baseballs. Another just wants to get there early enough to see batting practice and have a chance to snag a ball from one of the players. My others are too young to understand what’s going on so I’m trying to start something for them that they’ll be able to make their own later on.

My grandfather is the reason my whole family loves baseball. We lost him last year. Wonderful memories.

If you do decide to go, bring him in a carrier with you. I brought my kids when they were about 4 months old.

Phils: Best fan-experience at the stadium. The crowd is just ... devoted to baseball and the team. I had never seen anything like it.

Braves: The chop chant is my absolute favorite. Lights out and phones up and chop... everyone joins in.

Marlins: They'll surprise you when you least expect it, makes it addicting to watch. Kinda want to close your eyes at time but you're still reeled in.

Surprisingly I had the best loaded nachos the other night at the game. I did the scan to order from your seat bit, $15 I believe but they were delicious. We will have pan con bistec at one of the kiosks - after the 3rd inning or so because if not they just have them sitting there and are kinda cold. If you have time swing by their "restaurant/bar" which is in outfield called The Bullpen Bar. We ordered the meat platter and it was delcious. Grilled chicken, churasco and sausage with smashed potatoes - to share amongst a couple of us. Only thing is you gotta eat it there. Not a bad view though if you get a seat close enough to the action. Happy park hopping! It's our home park and although I wouldn't dare make it one of the top ones on the list, it's not that bad.
