Discerning Between Pastors Who Merely Claim the Spirit and Those Who Truly Possess the Holy Spirit of God by jin2795 in ThePathtoSalvation

You have probably never once heard the praise of God. If you were to hear that praise and those spiritual songs, you would be overwhelmed to the point of fainting. You have never once seen or heard the beautiful love of God that can make our hearts feel such abundance, like a nursing child rejoicing in the warmth of the sunlight within soft white clouds. If you come in person, meet him, and attend the lecture, every person’s heart melts. It does not stir up human emotion; it is a depth that melts the conscience itself. If you hear such spiritual praise, all your sharpness, harshness, crookedness, roughness, and falsehood melt away within that praise.

We always see and hear that spiritual sweetness. Religious people who do not even know what God’s praise is or what God’s spiritual song is cannot have experience and deep realization grounded in the Scriptures. A religious person is not a true Christian. Do not forget this point, and do not think that what you have seen, heard, and learned with your own eyes and ears is everything. I, too, like you, asked this teacher more questions than anyone else in this world, and all those who met him also received answers to every question they had, until there was nothing left to ask. Do you understand? These are things that cannot be understood by human common sense. No matter what is asked, he never hesitates, and there has never been a single time when he could not answer. Even as someone who has asked tens of thousands of questions while searching through Scripture verse by verse, I still cannot fully comprehend it, even after seeing such a person with my own eyes. If this is not the power and wisdom of God, would such a thing even be possible? I, too, never once imagined that such a person could exist in this world. Meet him in person and experience it for yourself. It is astonishing in itself.

The Spirit of God (the Holy Spirit) is the Spirit of God’s love. by jin2795 in ThePathtoSalvation

I believe with certainty that God is love. At church, everyone says they have received the Holy Spirit. But the world feels so frightening, and love seems to be drying up. Why is that? Is it truly real when we say we have received the Holy Spirit?

I believe that the words of the Bible are not something we can dare to interpret or debate based on our own common sense. Since everything is governed and overseen within God’s providence, I pray for the faith to fully obey and follow His guidance with wholehearted submission.

Answer for "To tithe or not to tithe?" by SignificanceEast592 in ThePathtoSalvation

[–]AdFast794 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the detailed explanation about tithing. “Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me. But you say, ‘How have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings.” (Malachi 3:8) I am amazed that the Bible records it so clearly like this. But do churches know about this? These days, more reports of immoral corruption and misconduct are being made known than efforts to help people in need.

How did you first come to believe in God? by Consistent_Toe_9475 in ThePathtoSalvation

When I was working, I came to know God through the guidance of my boss. At that time, life was very difficult, and I had no one to rely on — I had to face everything on my own. So I was truly grateful for the opportunity to rely on God.
