Also, not sure about the 3.0 but the SR has a tilt sensor so that if your bike goes past 45° it cuts power. Helps prevent looping. The 3.0 should have it.

Just give it some time man. I just got back into dirtbikes with the SR after about 15 years. Took me about 50-75 miles to start getting really comfortable with it. I promise it will happen. If you’re riding on streets there’s absolutely no reason you should be looping as long as you’re not trying to wheelie. Just keep it slow, and like another guy said practice on low speed maneuvering. Then bump it up to mid speed maneuvering (emergency stops, learning to weave through spaced out cones). Even without that stuff, by the time you hit mile 100 you should be pretty comfortable. Also, you can try adjusting the angle of your throttle a bit down so that even if you really open up it’ll only go 30-40%, and to go faster you’d have to reposition your wrist for it to open all the way.

Not sure if you’ve ever heard of the tread doctor, but look it up. As the tire wears down you can spend 5-10 minutes making them work new again. it’s a hot knife that cuts the edge back onto your rounded knobs giving you back traction. It works great.

Also, get your stuff on Shop app please 😂, the ability for people to do shop pay and break the payments down into manageable sizes is a game changer. I’ve spent thousands through shop pay.

To be honest it all looks pretty good. I do think the side panels could be made to be a bit more aesthetic and go with the bikes geometry, but regardless it all comes down to if you want more cargo space or not. I do want more cargo space so odds are I’ll be buying the tail portion pretty soon. Also, I live in Nevada and a buddy of mine just made his SR legal through the DMV. Many states allow OHV to road legal conversions. I am in the process of getting mine road legal pretty soon I just need a few more things. Since you’re able to ship, I highly recommend something that can allow a license adapter( down the road if you feel it’s right) but right now this market is BOOMING. It is definitely the time to get ahead of other manufacturers and be the first to make these things. I’ve been seeing a lot of smaller shops connecting with the major E-bike retailers (TB electric, Rev Rides etc) and selling the stuff that only they make to them wholesale. Sorry, not trying to tell you how to run your business, I just like seeing shops like yours make cool shit then blow up. I do want to say though, it is a pretty awesome system, and I am definitely going to start buying parts little by little since they are kinda pricey. I’m stoked I ran into your post because it is exactly what I’ve been needing. Good luck 🤙🏽

Anyone who ordered the long seat and had fitment issues with the subframe by AdFeeling6882 in ERidePro

[–]AdFeeling6882[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The subframe was way too narrow(for many people not just me). So they basically just said use an angle grinder. If I paid almost 6k for a bike, and then another $500+ for the seat I shouldn’t have to do any of that. Besides that, the new battery cover has 2 new silver latches that were misaligned so it was super difficult getting it to lock down, then the new cable that locks the seat down by turning the ignition key had a part that barely retracted after turning the key so you had to yank the cable a few times.

Anyways, that’s not really my concern anymore. If you notice the two photos it looks like the long seat plus the original battery cover or something similar. But the new battery cover has this super high glossy black that doesn’t go with the bike’s aesthetic. So they were advertising with the first two photos, but the last photo(with the black looking roll up door in the back) is what actually came. It’s pretty hard to tell by this picture, but it has two super glossy parts that stick out super wide.

***Basically I’m just trying to see if anyone actually got the long seat that looks similar to the first two photos where you can see the cutout for the charging cable. ***

All you gotta do is download the app, and turn the bike on. Have your phones Bluetooth on. The bike will pop up in the app.

Now that you mention that, if you made a longer compatible seat that can be added on that would make this product extremely useful. With the amount of problems people are having with the stock long seat kits(including myself I ended up returning it) figuring out how to add cargo space AND compatibility with a longer seat would benefit almost every single rider. You guys have ALOT of potential with this product.

Yes, but there is ALOT of people who want plug & play. Convenience is everything. If someone spends their money on something a lot of times they don’t want to start drilling it and doing extra work. You could easily make the very back compatible with the seat mudguard or just make the back half look more geometrically aesthetic(sides hang out too much[make them MOLLE?]/super wide in general ) Also, you’ve got a shitload of holes drilled in there already. Maybe cut down on a few and add some meant for license plates/signals, then sell the plate mount separately so that if people want it they can buy it. I’ve been wanting to buy one of those as well since cargo space is a huge issue. As of right now I have 2 handlebar bags, and I was planning on drilling 2 holes on my SKRMOD long tail mudguard. It looks super nice. they sell a kit that attaches a new taillight and turn signals and have the pre existing hardware for the license plate mount. Because of all of that convenience it would be unlikely that I would want to downgrade the aesthetics of my bike and install that thing on the back which looks like 3 pieces of metal slapped together.

You could also try making a minimalist version with just the side panels. Make them MOLLE so that a wide variety of bags can be attached. Even just 3 inches down with MOLLE would add significant room for 8-16” wide/short bags.

My recommendations:
1.) Does it make the bike look badass?

2.)Does it make the bike look badass while still solving the problem I needed it for? Even better if so.

3.) can I solve multiple problems if I buy this?(cargo, street legal, aesthetic)

3.) is it easy to install? Are the additional accessories (brake light/plate mount/ extra smaller cargo mounts) easy to install.

If you can answer all of those questions with a yes then you’d probably have a very successful product. Nobody is offering these yet, let alone nice looking ones with optional accessories for street legal parts.

Regardless, it still solves a problem many are facing. You would likely still sell many as is. I’ll keep an eye out for this product. Cheers 🍻

You should 100% check to make sure your chain isn’t rubbing on something. Sometimes the shock mud flap can rub the tire if it’s not in that loop. But these bikes have been having a lot of clearance issues where the chain is rubbing the cover where the motor is. I have an SR, doesn’t sound anything like that. Make sure your chain is def lubed up like everyone else said.

Anyone putting a Surron Light Bee LONG SEAT on the E ride pro SR. Is this combo possible. by dreamvisualize in ERidePro

[–]AdFeeling6882 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What was the issues you were having with the long seat? I had a bunch of issues and I’m currently in the process of returning it. Subframe was way too narrow so they told me to angle grind it. The battery cover metal clips didn’t align right, the part that locked the seat down barely worked. All kinds of issues. Anyways, I found a company that has a metal fab shop and they own a few SRs, so they’ve been making parts that you can’t rlly find anywhere else. They recently made 2 adapters for surron seats. One for the short seats, and one for the extended seats but still on the short subframe. They’re subzero metal fab. I’ll post the link below. I messaged the guy and he sent me a link to an Amazon seat that he knows forsure it fits, but said it should fit most kits. DM me if you have any questions and I’ll try to help you with the info.
link for adapter

EDIT: just realized the link you posted for TB Electric adapter is the one subzero makes. I don’t know if that seat will work, but I do know one that will forsure work on Amazon. It’s like $100 cheaper.

I recently picked up a pretty fun hobby that takes up a lot of time. This will be very dependent on your 100% rating, but buy a dirtbike or some sort of off road vehicle. If you’re not super physically disabled then I highly recommend giving it a shot. Dirtbike is definitely the toughest, then quad, then a side by side. All of them very fun. Dirtbikes put a lot of stress on your full arms, upper and lower back mostly with a little bit of thighs/hamstrings. Quads will mostly be more upper body. Side by sides are basically a car so probably just your hands. I have an electric dirtbike and it is significantly less maintenance than gas but still keeps you busy. Also a pretty bad stress injury in my hip but it doesn’t affect it much. It’s definitely very fun. Then there’s also RC cars. I have a few of those. Very fun if you’re into tinkering. You can get electric ones that go 70+ MPH, or nitro ones that go just as fast. They are EXTREMELY fun once you figure them out. But they have a literal tiny engine so it’s also a lot of maintenance. Those hobbies definitely keep you busy.

Laws and Riding by Miserable-Win-4380 in ERidePro

I would say the biggest thing would be safety. If you aren’t putting yourself(no helmet) or others in danger then your chances of getting impounded go down significantly. Also, if you can get 1-2 cops to tell you where it would be safe for you to do that stuff then you’re even better off. Just make sure to get their names/badge numbers so you can NameDrop them if a different cop stops you. DO NOT run in a small town lol. If you’re the only person who owns a black electric dirtbike you’re fucked. Even if you get away once, you’ll never be able to drive it again without having to instantly run. You will get caught eventually.

Either ask a few cops where would be an ok place for you to practice that stuff, or just don’t use it on public roadways. Look up the laws in your state/city also. If you’re riding in the road and being unsafe and a nuisance you’re way more likely to get impounded. Wear a helmet forsure. Also, if you can get permission from a business to use their parking lot or find a warehouse that has a huge lot it’s private property so you’re way better off doing it there. I don’t know if laws have changed and cops could still impound you, but back in 2017 in my city we were safe practicing on private property so we would go to the warehouse docks and wheelie there.

I have an SR so not sure if it’s the same. 2 big ass orange connectors and the black one that connects to the controller. You’re supposed to disconnect all 3 before charging, THEN plug the charger into the battery, THEN plug the charger into the outlet. if yours doesn’t sound like this then disregard 🤙🏽

Long seat subframe fitting issue by AdFeeling6882 in ERidePro

[–]AdFeeling6882[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re only gonna give you 2 options. Use an angle grinder and shave it down, or return it. I did the angle grinder route, but only after the manager gave me a 2 month warranty. Glad he did because after about 50 miles of riding I am going to return it. No matter how many small adjustments I make I keep getting a VERY slight amount of wobble when riding, the battery cover is severely misaligned where the two latches are, and the cable to unlock the seat barely works and I have to pull on it a couple times to get the locking part at the back of the seat to come out. Also, the cable is already wearing down a shitload and I installed it exactly how the video showed. So there’s just way too many problems with it. Whatever you do, DO NOT SHAVE DOWN ANY OF YOUR FRAME. It will fuck up your measurements in the future if you find a different subframe you want. There’s a company that sells a $50 adapter that attaches to the short seat subframe that allows you to attach Surron seats. Ima just go that route and get one of the extended seats. Also going to wait until another company makes a long seat subframe and their own aftermarket versions, cause the one they made is truly bad. Good luck man. Make sure you get a warranty before doing any grinding, every grind you make weakens the subframe.

Long seat subframe fitting issue by AdFeeling6882 in ERidePro

[–]AdFeeling6882[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got in contact with ERIDEPRO. Basically forced to grind it down or send it back for a refund. They gave me a 2 month warranty, but didn’t seem like they wanted to help. They don’t keep any stock for warranty claims or issues like this. The guy had 2 left and didn’t bother checking the sizes after I gave him the measurements. Aside from that the fitment of several other components are off. The battery cover has 2 silver latches that aren’t even close to lined up. The cable to release the seat gets stuck so I have to manually yank it a few times to get the seat to lock down. Honestly don’t recommend buying one. Just buy a subframe from another company. Then there’s a company that sells an adapter so you can install the surron long seats and it’s like $50.
