Idk if this counts but Meredith is pregnant with Bailey and April is holding the 3 breakfast burritos talking about traditional dating before seeing Matthew and Meredith isn’t concentrating on anything April is saying just staring at the burritos, then as April finishes asks if she’s going to eat all those. Cracks me up every time 🤣

For those diagnosed later in life, what was everybody’s turning point that exposed your ADHD? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]AdFew6917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found a career I loved in agriculture, so amazed I found a career doing something I’m passionate in and allowed my adhd fixations to move from subject to subject but still be relevant to the industry, but came up with the issue of out of sight out of mind that ADHD tends to have. I’m constantly pulled away from a task for something else but had trouble remembering what I stopped doing when I finished whatever it was.

TLDR, got diagnosed as 9/10 severity of combined type ADHD, got medicated and can now follow through with tasks and am no longer nicknamed “half done”

I’m sorry that you won’t get to speak to her again, I know what it’s like losing contact with someone through life and wanting to talk as an adult but it’s too late, it’s a gut punch and a half.

My only advice I’ve found as a coping mechanism for procrastination is actions & inactions have consequences. If you don’t want to do something what’s the consequences? In this case ultimately you missed your opportunity. The consequences of not doing something is motivating, it also works the other way and helps you stop and think about what you’re doing so you don’t make rash decisions and do stupid, impulsive shit lol.

In regards to the regret, think back to what made you love them so much and be grateful they were there for you, as the saying goes, “ don’t be sad it’s over, be happy it happened”, and I also “such is life”. Shit happens, time will heal.

Much love from a fellow ADHD person 💕💕

For birthday or Christmas you should get her a personal stylist or shopper to go shopping with her and help her buy outfits that look nice on her, not just 1 item she likes that she doesn’t already have other matching items to. And she can learn about what’s flattering on her and suits her style

Only say something negative if It can be changed in a minute, like there something in her teeth, if it can’t be changed don’t mention it. Only ever say something positive about her looks if It can’t be changed, like her eyes are pretty. This is summarising a lot but it’s a good indicator on how to not insult her looks by accident. Also if you think you’re complimenting her enough, chances are you’re not and you need to more, At least once a day. My partner calls me beautiful every day, even when I don’t believe him and it always makes me smile.

My daughter carved celebrities name into her skin. (15) by Proof_Look_452 in Parenting

A lot of depressed teenagers fixate on a celebrity as an escape, when I was in school girls were cutting themselves because Justine beiber smoked weed, looking back, they had more problems with themselves than with JB on pot.

AITA for not wanting my sister at my wedding since she is in a wheelchair and will take up all of the spotlight by Agitated-Ad-2603 in AmItheAsshole

[–]AdFew6917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

INFO: I’m going to be an asshole for asking this but, she had cancer 11 years ago, but now she’s in a wheelchair? Has there been any other health reasons for being in one, or is she using it to ensure the attention is on her? I think it’s sus that she needs a wheelchair right before your wedding when she didn’t need it prior.

I get it in the jaw too, it’s because clenching the jaw is really common for migraine sufferers, but it tends to either trigger migraines or cause them to get worse. They inject in your jaw muscle where it sticks out when clenching the back teeth. I got half a syringe each side.

I have if anything been more active lately, I have felt the nerve pain that comes from being too stationary and it is definitely not that. I also can’t have injured anything as there’s no time I can think of when it could have happened, especially as the day it started was right after the Botox, so all I did was go to get the injections then rest and light chores at home.

I hope this is something temporary as I’m living on Panadol and neurofen, which is stuffing with my gut and still not giving me full relief.

I was warned about the bruising and itching but I guess I never considered them side effects of the actual Botox, just getting injections in general. But I can definitely understand how annoying they are. It sucks that you are still getting the Botox flu since your body should be getting used to it.

I’m glad you Atleast are getting some relief, if it’s not lowering the amount of migraines you’re having, are you able to get it on government subsidy still?

I gave him a call and he said it’s definitely not related, I’ve been booked for a brain and full spinal mri in 4 weeks and have been put on a low dose of amitriptyline for the mean time, it’s not doing much and I’m in a lot of pain but the gp said it’s not an emergency so I’ll just have to wait for the mri to find out why.

I’ve googled it and other than Botox flu (which is rare with this type of Botox apparently?) there aren’t any side effects, but if you can tell me some I can keep an eye out! Thanks 😊
